just played a short session only like 20 hands. I told myself i wasnt gunna play today after working 14 hrs, but felt like getting some aggression out. I guess i picked a really good table, cause this was the tightest 4 handed table i have ever been at. I raised almost every hand and only got play back at once. I was gunna keep playing but i can tell im very tired and the table filled up. I like 3 and 4 handed better than 6+.quick.jpgwas this a bit over the top?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)saw flop|saw showdownBB ($28.30)UTG ($24.15)Hero ($23.95)SB ($27.45)Preflop: Hero is Button with 4spade.gif, Qclub.gif. 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.75, SB calls $0.65, 1 fold.Flop: ($1.75) 5heart.gif, 5club.gif, Jdiamond.gif(2 players)SB checks, Hero bets $1, SB raises to $4, Hero raises to $12, SB folds.Final Pot: $17.75Results in white below: No showdown. These are the other two hands that helped me size him up. Both against the same guy as before. The first one is a loose raise, but the whole table was playing tight except him. I played it like a donkey, though it worked out because it showed me that villain will just call with air, but he doesn't try to take the pot away when he does that, he just calls.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)saw flop|saw showdownUTG+1 ($2.16)Hero ($5.65)MP2 ($5)CO ($4.71)Button ($2.94)SB ($8.39)BB ($1.41)UTG ($5.32)Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q :icon_dance: , T :club: . 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.09, 3 folds, SB calls $0.08, 1 fold.Flop: ($0.20) A :D , A :D , K :icon_dance:(2 players)SB checks, Hero bets $0.12, SB calls $0.12.Turn: ($0.44) 4 :icon_dance:(2 players)SB checks, Hero checks.River: ($0.44) 4 :)(2 players)SB checks, Hero checks.Final Pot: $0.44Results in white below: Hero has Qc Td (two pair, aces and fours). Up 600ish playing 1/2NL tonight for a couple hours. Woot!Sublime - nice hands, keep them coming.Zimmer - Unless you are up against a donkey shoving any king there, I think you can find a fold in that hand. I would make it vs a good villian at 2/4NL and up, and never below that probably. Its hard to put him on a weaker king calling you pf. KQ is even a bad call there by him but whatever. Even though you have trips, you can still really only beat a bluff there right? (or a weaker king which he's unlikely to call with pf)Edit: I just looked again, the board is kinda drawy. So he could be semibluffing. So maybe vs a big aggrotard you can't fold. And I'm not saying its a lock easy fold either. Just saying, a fold could be found there I think, but obv I know results.Bellaire - very nice! Prtypsux once posted somethink similar where he had won all but one of the hands in the hand history window on Stars. I think it was in a tourney, but anyway, something to strive for :)Zimmer - that AA vs AK hand sucks :(Teddy - don't call with KQ from the bb to an utg raise. wtf is wrong with you? Stellar river call though, I'm glad you make those. I think you might need to coach me from now on. Also, snap calls can be (and are more likely to be at higher limits) weak made hands, like top pair weak kicker, or middle or bottom pair. A lot of times aggressive players will need time to think if they want to raise with their draws. But nice hand call again there. So stellar man! Here is my bragtard hand for tonight and then I'm off to watch the WSOP episode and crash. This guy is an ultra nit, so I know he had a pocket pair.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)saw flop|saw showdownSB ($251.55)NoSup4U ($674.05)UTG ($193)MP ($270.80)CO ($176.95)Button ($329)Preflop: NoSup4U is BB with Aheart.gif, 9spade.gif. 2 folds, CO calls $2, Button calls $2, 1 fold, NoSup4U raises to $8, CO folds, Button calls $6.Flop: ($19) 5spade.gif, 5diamond.gif, 7heart.gif(2 players)NoSup4U bets $14, Button calls $14.Turn: ($47) 5club.gif(2 players)NoSup4U bets $35, Button calls $35.River: ($117) 8spade.gif(2 players)NoSup4U bets $95, Button folds.Final Pot: $212Results below: NoSup4U has Ah 9s (three of a kind, fives). The 55 bluff happened before the KQ, so that got me steaming a bit.I really felt the guy had QQ tho, h e tanked for a LONG TIME before he flattied. When he called, I didnt put him on a J, I put him on QQ, AA or KK. When the turn and river came, I just felt He didnt have AA or KK, it just didnt feel right, I'm sure it's -ev, but my gut said QQ or complete air, and I have no problem with people seeing me stack off there.

I du nno if you guys read the Stakeaments draft thread, but if you are interested, check it out, me and TJ came up with a pretty sick way to have fun for the sunday 100k. (Anyone in all levels can have fun, if you are a low limit player, get a stake, if you can't take the tourney seriously, stake a team, and if you have the roll but it is still a chunk, play for fun anyways) If you hve time, read the whole thing, and if you want a team for next week, lemme know.

down aobut $76 for the day but that all came from the last few hundo hands I played. I was playing and all of a sudden people starting playing crazy and raising with crap. I'd call and miss and this would happen over and over. It seemed like all of a sudden a bunch of drunk people came to play and it was very frustrating because I was actually getting some nice looking hands. People would c/r me on the turn and would river their flush.. this move happened over and over again.. damn AP is rigged :club:

I don't think I like your river bet there unless it's for image. But for this hand alone, if he has you beat he's calling, if not he's folding. Why not check to induce a bluff?

I du nno if you guys read the Stakeaments draft thread, but if you are interested, check it out, me and TJ came up with a pretty sick way to have fun for the sunday 100k. (Anyone in all levels can have fun, if you are a low limit player, get a stake, if you can't take the tourney seriously, stake a team, and if you have the roll but it is still a chunk, play for fun anyways) If you hve time, read the whole thing, and if you want a team for next week, lemme know.
Being in Australia this tourney starts at 5 monday morning for me. Which is fine except most weeks I have work at 8 on monday. If I ever get a monday off, can I score a stake from you?
