zimmer4141 0
Zim, 2 things:1 - I don't think I've ever told you how much I love your screen name.2 - I don't like the flop shovel. Obv I don't know villian, but standard 3betting ranges are big pairs, and AK/AQ. I'm for sure calling with JJ pf, but on the flop, I think you're best to just call and not shove. The only hand I can really see you having hope of getting called by that is worse is TT. He probably doesn't 3bet 99 or 88 pf, folds AK and AQ to your shove, and calls with QQ/KK/AA. If you want to go to war, just flat call, and let him bluff shove the turn with AK/AQ so at least you get some value there.MarkI think the fact that he had only around 60bb total influenced my decision. Against someone who is 100bb+ deep I'll just call flop and reevaluate turn, but I guess A. The flop bet seemed a bit weak and B. He wasn't full stacked.I'm not sure why you love my SN so much, nothing really special about it. Not like it's ripped off a Seinfeld episode or anything.
PoppinFresh 0
fwiw I think if you are planning on stacking off with the JJ ( which you probably should be), I would rather c/r the flop than call, especially with that weird tiny bet he put in. Calling and donking the turn is another option, but otherwise you give 2 free cards and rarely induce a bluff IMO, and can also be put in a sticky position if an overcard falls. Closer to 100bb deep I would just call

Merby 3
I just had a grueling 3 hour session against a couple tough opponents (one in particular definitely outplayed me postflop). At one point I was down $500 (2 and a half buy-ins at my level) but by the time I called it a night, I was up a nickel.G'night, I'm off to the sack.

Merby 3
sigh fold preflop i know but man this guy is so badI don't mind the preflop call at all. It's four handed and you have position in the classic "battle of the blinds." If you feel that this guy is "so bad" then you certainly have an expectation to outplay him post-flop *especially* with position. The stacks are certainly deep enough to justify peeling $0.75 for a flop.Case and point: the flop action shows that he is ripe for the picking... he just managed to outdraw your hand. Unfortunate on your part, but not misplayed.PS: I love his min-reraise back to you on a flop with two overs (he *should* know at this point that he is optimistically drawing at 6 outs or less)

wsox8 10
I have a problem that's lost me some money and about $120 today.. I have a problem leaving a table if I'm up or down.I would be up $30-50 at 2/4 and continue to play because this table is donkish. Well they catch some hands and I'm back to even or even down $30. And once I get down, I think that it's not bad and I can comeback but lots of times it doesn't happen. Was up $130 today but sat too long at all my tables and ended up being only up $7.Anyone else have this problem and what should I try doing? I know the answer might sound easy but once you get in a habit, it's very hard to break.

It's like I'm in a tournament mode where I want to play and win everything.Don't focus on winning and losing in individual sessions. Limit is especially swingy, keep playing if you feel like you are playing well and the table's good. If you're tired and not playing well, then quit.
