Two tabled 3/6NL for about 2 hours. Will play more this afternoon. (Note: didn't play anymore)Day 4: up $600. Four tabled 3/6NL for about 1 1/2 hours. Day 5: up $200. 2 tabled 3/6NL for about an hour.Day 6: up $150. 3 tabled 3/6NL for about an hour. Played another hour tonight, up $1600Day 7: up $2000. 2 tabled 3/6NL, in 2, 2 hour sessions. One tabled for another hour tonight, up $700.Day 8: DNPDay 9: DNP. down $100. I was so awful that I had to give money away after I coached someone.Day 10: Up $800. The donk I coached gave my $100 back (shows how donkey he is). Also played about an hour of 3/6, 3 tables.Day 11: Up $1900. Its kind of nice to keep a blog like this of sorts...I'm seeing that over the last week and a half, I haven't played online much, and when I have I've played poorly. I think how well I play/focus is directly related to how disciplined I am about playing. When its a scheduled job and I treat it that way, I play well. Lost a ton in the morning, still tilting/playing poorly. Played a little better this evening, got it all back. I'm getting worried about meeting my goal. I'm super busy this week. I know poker is your job so you probably won't, but you had a very decent month, hell, you had a wonderfull month and it would be a shame to let it get to you if you won't make the 25K.In my oppinion you've already achieved á goal and that is to show that when you play serious you can destroy 3-6 nl. I'm about to put in a few hour session this morning so hopefully I come back and post that it went well. I think I ran really well at first because the Stars players didn't know me since I'd never played there before. I find myself getting 3 and 4 bet preflop way light now. Had a couple instances yesterday that confirmed this for me:I 4bet a guy pf with like 98s or something, he shoves, I fold, and he tells me: 'I read that same crappy article about 4betting light with A2s moron'. And then another guy calls me when I 4bet pf. He has TT with no spade. Flop comes K53 all spades. I pot flop, he calls. Turn 6 (I have 56h here) and we get it all in. So anyway, just felt like without a spade, thats a pretty tough call to make on the flop. So I'm adjusting now and really tightening up preflop. I feel like with Cardrunners and all the stuff that is out and available to people, the preflop play is just laggy as hell right now. A month and a half +~20k from a starting point of $500 is amazing to me. Wow. I hope that you're able to meet your goal of 25, but jeez to be stopped even at this point - to me at least - is an amazing feat. The starting point is the amazing thing. Color me thoroughly amazed.
