I would assume they don't get many people. Maybe 20-30 if your real lucky.

They actually got like 50 or so when I was there last weekend though I didn't play in it. Bally's also goes non-smoking sometime this year as well. Once they get rid of the free hotdogs in plastic cups I'm folding. I'm fairly convinced their auto-shufflers deal out more paired boards than any other casino. The other night I could have sworn the shuffler printed out a message on the screen that said "paired board-ready, nut flush no good"

I don't play there often but when I do it's because I can smoke at the table, get free hot dogs, and free energy drinks.

I was a bit surprised at the ability of the no limit players there...not sure if it was just a bad night to show up but first hand I sit down 1/2 the action went...pre-flop raise to 10, call...all fold....ob bets 20 at a dry flop....called....check/check turn...ob bets 50 on the river...almost immediately called and says repeatedly "I call" until the ob has to flip up a missed KJ and the caller flips up 55 to rake the pot. No drunks...to which I immediately shimmied to Borgata which is always good for big drunken sloppy stacks.

I think it's a nightly that starts at 6. It's like 50+25 or something like that, basically, the juice is too high. First is usually around 800 or so, but everytime i've been there it's been chopped HU. Basically, unless you want to be able to smoke in the poker room, bally's sucks balls.erac

first tournament i ever played live was at Bally's last year. I think it was 65 buy in with quite a bit of juice. 32 entrants, I played shortstack all the way down to 4 handed. final 3 we all managed to get in preflop with pps and i took 1st for 1k and change on a sweet runner runner suck out.other than that highlight, I'd never play there again. respekt

I played to 100 like 6 months back or so. My first table was super weak and I ran it over, then got moves to a table of people unable to fold. There was probably like 60 or so in it. Be ready to inhale tons of second hand smoke.My advice is go play the 7pm at the showboat. If the buy in is 100 you start with 15k in chips, if it's 50 you get 10k, and the players are bad.
