SilentButDeadly3 0
For those who said "Just because they play tight doesn't mean that the play is better." No but it makes it harder, because there are more people still in with the blinds getting higher and higher. Take for instance yesterday.I just won a big hand when HU when my K8 held against QT when the flop came KT4. I have 12.5k in chips. He has 1k. It's an hour and a half in and the blinds are 300/600. I get dealt 66 the next hand. He moves all in for like 400 more after the blinds, I call. He has two overs and hits. That's okay. Next hand, KT. I push in, he calls. He has Q8. He wins again. Now he has 4k in chips to my 9.5k. Then I get AQ. He pushes in from the button, I call. He wins again with J9. I lose 3 races and suddenly we're about even in chips. I get dealt JJ and he has QQ obv on a 438 flop and then I'm down to less than a blind. gg me.While I agree tighter doesn't necessarily mean better, it means the blinds are bigger with more people left, therefore your EV goes down, while their EV goes up. Which means, they are getting better.

krup24 0
Stars sngs are not like this............yet, there are usually 2 people out before blinds go to 15/30,
BWToth 0
Yes, I like the turbos on FTP but there are thos oddball ones when there are still 6 or 7 people left and the blinds are at 150/300 or 200/400, I feel like this clearly takes away almost any edge in skill I may have had against the players. But then I feel like if i can get lucky there and make it down to 3 or 4 handed I have a great chance at 1st or 2nd. I've only played ~250 SnGs on FTP with only the last 100 being these 9-handed turbos, and while I'm still winning, I'm not sure if they are the most profitable thing to be playing. But I like being able to play 4 at a time and have them all be done in less than an hour, and they are more 'fun' whatever that means. Merlopj 0
have you guys tried playing the 18p SnG's? 2nd place gets more than a 1st in a 9p, and it's nearly as 'easy' to cash. I always found they lasted about 1.5 hours, and the extra chips from the extra table help when the blinds get high. However, I've found the 45p SnG's become a crapshoot toward the end (around 2 hours) and aren't worth playing. thoughts?
