I :club: riddles. I've heard this one though, so I'll let others think before just blurting out the answer.

each man paid 1/3 of $25...or $8.33...+$1 rebate = $9.33....three guys...that's $28, plus $2 to the bellboy...

Actually, the total cost of the room with tip is $27 not, $29.Room is $25 or $8.333333 per personTip is $2 or $0.666666 per person$25 room charge + $2 tip = $27The remainder of the $30 was given to the 3 men who rented the room by the bellboy. ($1 each)LOL drumbum beat me to it. :club:

I was about to give up and scroll for the answer and then it hit me. I can't think of a hint that won't give it away outright...EDIT: well now it's been given away and I won't feel bad. But all that math and decimals are not needed.Easier way to explain:"THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM"true"WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27"true"ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29."the $2 tip is included in the $27 total fee. So you actually need to subtract (not add) the $2 from the $27 to get $25 (what the clerk has).

sometimes when read a riddle and don't pay attention well, you answer it a hell of a lot easier. Like those 3d things you stare at that have a hidden image of a spaceship. Playing hands read this, answered it off the bat. Huh. Cosmic.

Simply put, the math equation is wrong. You're subtracting and then adding.It is either:30 (total paid) - 3 (dollars returned) - 2 (money kept by dishonest bellboy) = 25or25 (total cost) + 3 + 2 = 30The way the riddle is worded is:30 - 3 + 2 = 29

Ahhh, that's much easier.

Your top secret software should have told you to fold preflop because you are an idiot and can't even post entertaining riddles. Better get that program debugged.Good luck.

What is better than Heaven and worse than Hell; when a live man eats it, he dies, and a dead man eats it?The person who makes it doesn't use itThe person who buys it doesn't want itThe person that uses it doesn't knowWhat is it?You and I are heads up in a Texas Hold Em game of poker. The turn card has been dealt. You currently have the better hand (you have me beat right now) but NO MATTER what card comes on the river, you CANNOT win the pot. What do I have? What do you have? What is on the board?
