njligernj 0
This documentary was referenced in one of the many contentious Truth blog threads but I think it warrants some attention by itself. In many ways I found it a far more compelling movie than Truth. While the issue itself is on a slightly less grand scale than what Gore deals with (then again what isn't?) in terms of a pure example of what WE can actually do (or for the cynics "can't do") it proves far more helpful. You should NOT buy a hybrid card before watching this movie. I'm not saying hybrids are bad but there are far better options than what you'll find by walking into a Toyota dealership -- especially for someone with enough money to do much better.http://www.pluginamerica.com/wktec.shtmlhttp://www.pluginamerica.com/... and for those types who are just so very eager to start throwing around skewed science about how it's actually been proven by someone that it's better to drive gas powered SUVs than electric cars PLEASE don't bother. You'll be arguing by yourself. At last wait until Daniel writes a blog about "Who Killed the Electric Car?" ... don't blow your little neocon wads too soon.
gozo 0
Another thought provoking documentary from the UK which is unfortunately pretty hard to find is called What Would Jesus Drive? The only place I could track it down is part of this bittorrent - http://torrentspy.com/torrent/903392/War_on_Terra_2005 .

dapokerbum 0
I read the bottom part and instantly thought this was about golf...You know Hybrids and an electric car..Man I love golf!Reminds of that article in Golf Digest where this guy recounts going to the eye doctor and getting some work done and the doctor told him to make sure he brought a driver. The guy brought in his Golfing Driver, not a person to drive the car. Absolutley hilarious.
