What is rakeback and bonuses, etc. I found this in the FCP dictionary, rakeback = a system that returns part of the rake that you pay. So I'm guessing its something like the *First Time Deposit Bonus* type of thing? I play on stars, could anyone explain the rakeback and bonuses for that site? I'm still currently trying to gain enough FPP's for the first time deposit bonus. But after I clear that, what else would I do with the FPPs?Be gentle on your flames Link to post Share on other sites
Suited_Up 2 Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Bonuses are stupid.And rakeback you get forever. You get a certain percentage of the money back that you contribute to the rake. Usually in the 25-27% range. But it doesn't run out.The site I use updates daily, so basically, whenever you play, you pay so much in rake, and each day it lets you know how much that was, and gives you a portion back into an account, and then you can cash that back out when you want it. Basically rakeback is like free money as long as you play. It's dumb not to have it. Basically, don't sign up for a new site until you find out if you can get rakeback there, and go through the process to do that first. (such as the link in my sig.... lots of sites with it)And as for FPP's, they are usually used to buy things at the poker store. Or enter tournaments. Link to post Share on other sites

And you won't ever find it within the sites software, you have to get it through a 3rd party, and you need to signup for it before you signup for the poker site. check out that link, it explains more about how to go about it. You clear it, you move on to the next skin.Betsafe on Crypto has a $1000 bonus that clears at the same time as 30% rakeback.If you can maintain a constant bonus, on a site like say AP, which offer reloads 3 times a week, then you can play with > 70% rakeback.
