Thanks!if its on pokerstars, 2/5c NL is what you ideally should be playing, but you could probably do fine at .05/.10nl with that. youre also well rolled to play 5$ sngs. mmic23 0
Thank you guys for responding. What is your opinion on playing multiple tables at a time? What percentage of hands should I be playing on average? And, I know there are swings, but overall, how much should I average an hour on a table? Thanks again.

You can do in one hand what would could take you weeks to do grinding it out at proper limits.j/k...dont do that. The 4.40 180 man SNGs are a great way to build a BR on stars if you're a MTT player. Check out the pinned thread in the tournament forum for more on these.

mmic23 0
I am playing on Full Tilt and it seems like the minimum limits are much higher then on the site you guys are speaking of... They do have $5.50 45 and 90 man SNG's... They have .25/50 limit and .5/.10 NL. So, considering this, what would you guys suggest?

Sea Wasp 0
Building a roll with your start bank will be a long, tedious and frustrating journy. if you must do it though then you should play at a site where you can clear a bonus and also earn rakeback. In addition you should of course practice good roll management and play at limits which will give you some breathing room if you hit a bad run. With $100 i can't see you playing anything higher than 5c/10c NL or 25c/50c limit. Good luck!
PositionPlayer 0
Your best bet is waiting until you have around $500 saved up to start a bankroll and then do bonus whoring on every single site that still takes Americans.
Spence 0
Bah, you can build it up fine enough.I started at $5 3 days ago .Do you have any more money you could put in if you lost it?
rogerwilco 0
Bah, you can build it up fine enough.I agree, 95$ is sufficient. Also: If you are new to online poker (and - no offense, your questions here sound like you are), you have a lot to learn and probably are better off at the nanolimits anyway.btw: the $1+0.1 45-player s&gs at Pokerstars can be a decent start for someone with a small bankroll also (if you are into tournaments)Thank you guys for responding. What is your opinion on playing multiple tables at a time? This depends on how attentive you are, and how "robotic" you are able to play the limit you are playing on, how comfortable you are in a game. I think most people have a lower winrate when they are multitabling. Of course, if you are not a winning player, you just lose you money more quickly when you play on more than one table. If you are just starting out - play just one table, you'll have enough to think about there. What percentage of hands should I be playing on average? There is no absolute answer to that question, you should play the hands worth playing in the right situations.Read Sklanskys "Small Stakes Poker" for limit hold'em cash games and/or "Harrington on Hold'Em" for NLHE tournaments - they talk about starting hand requirements too. And, I know there are swings, but overall, how much should I average an hour on a table? Thanks again.Everything above 0 is good! Other than that, noone can answer that question for you.

Spence 0
no no, definetly blackthats possibly the stupidest thing i've ever read. Why would you bet on black? It's gone black 4 times in a row, it HAS to be red this time.
Actuary 3
Your best bet is waiting until you have around $500 saved up to start a bankroll and then do bonus whoring on every single site that still takes Americans. Why not wait until you have $1500?or $25,
PositionPlayer 0
Why not wait until you have $1500?or $25,000Because a lot of the sites do 100% bonus up to $500 or some such low amount.Any other questions?
Actuary 3
Because a lot of the sites do 100% bonus up to $500 or some such low amount.Any other questions?sure. Why not play to make the $500 and then deposit it somewhere else for some bonus?
PositionPlayer 0
sure. Why not play to make the $500 and then deposit it somewhere else for some bonus?Meh. At the 'proper' stakes it would take longer to win $400 off a $100 deposit than to save up.Bonus whoring the online blackjack sites is probably also a viable option where someone could start with just $100 or $200. To me only having that as a BR is a waste of time, but we all started somewhere.
