I expect Shamrock to put his head down and charge at a double take leg down right off the bat, if he gets it he wins if he doesnt he wil be KOd all within 40 seconds.
funny thing is i think shamrock might try to stand with him and throw, idk why... just think hes stupid enough to try and ko kimbo.anyone else disgusted at this? 2-8 in his last 10 shamrock vs. kimbo who's only real fight he should have lost is one of the most important fights for the sport to this point?

There goes about 3/4 of a years worth of winnings.

Seats - There are no good seats (unless you are ringside). We had floor seats 11 rows from the ring... pretty close and I paid quite a bit. I couldn't see shit. You can't see over other people's heads

He decided against Kung Le that he'd fight standing up, even though his advantage would have been to try to take him to the ground. Ended up with a broken wrist in a one-sided fight for his trouble. He's the definition of arrogant.

................Apparently Chuck turns down Franklin fight at 93 in early Jan. Interesting as Franklin seems like a pretty good fight for Chuck.

LOL at the UFC letting Chuck still pick his opponents. I am not paying to see Chuck main event unless the competition is worth the price of admission. Let(make) him fight Anderson imo.WOW what a card for 92, Mir/Nog, Griffin/Evans and Wandy/Rampage. I think they up the price of there ppv's starting with this card.

Respectable EXC card on tonight on CBS. Also Spike is replaying Griffin /Rampage so something to switch to if the 2 hour EXC show turns out to have about 90 seconds of fighting like the last one.

Things may be in trouble for the main event...According to Wrestling Observer and Yahoo Columnist Dave MeltzerTonight's Ken Shamrock vs. Kimbo Slice main event is in jeopardy because of a cut suffered by Ken Shamrock.Nothing is definite at the moment but we have confirmed a few things. First is that Frank Shamrock, who has not trained at all, did volunteer to take the fight but because he wasn't licensed in Florida the commission nixed it. Seth Petruzelli, who is licensed and was scheduled for the undercard, was also asked but as of last word, Kimbo Slice's people have not accepted the fight. It is not 100% that Shamrock is off, but at this moment everything is going on the assumption he will not be fighting.

hey now, a one footed, off balance, choppy right jab to the eye can take a lot of people down.He didn't complain, argue or anything. He's just using Elite like they're using him. He's cashing checks and doing movies and video games. No hating on that. When his ride is over, I don't think you'll hear Kimbo complaining.

Anyone else feel like putting Petruzelli in there kind of gave Kimbo up? I mean if they signed Tito he's the new future of the company, and it really seems like Kimbo reached his potential. Sure, maybe they could have one big fight where they put over the face of their new HW division, but they might have panicked and just given it to Petruzelli and will build off him. Also, who thought it would have been awesome to see Frank call Ken's fight? I know they aren't really related but it'd be great to hear Frank bash Ken as he fought.

Even the prefight was hilarious when Frank was tallking about Ken 'tarnishing the Shamrock' name by training too hard just before a fight. You could feel the animosity.

Not a huge surprise that it happened - but pretty dumb of him to say it. First couple sentences says it all you don't want to read the whole thing...http://www.faniq.com/blog/Video-Kimbo-Slic...g-Up-Blog-12487After destroying Kimbo Slice in 14 seconds, Seth Petruzelli said that EliteXC's promoters paid him to stand up and trade punches with Slice, instead of the logical fight plan, which would have been to take Kimbo down, where his ground game is suspect and unproven."My original plan was to throw out push kicks, they're called teeps, have him think that I'm going to throw them to try to rush in more, and then shoot in on him, obviously... but the promoters kinda hinted to me, and they gave me the money to stand and trade with him. They didn't want me to take him down, let's just put it that way. It was worth my while to try to stand up and punch with him."When questioned about it later, Petruzelli backpedaled a bit, saying that he was taken out of context:"What was meant to be said was that I wanted to keep the fight standing for myself because I knew that was what the crowd, the promoters, and everyone wanted to see because that’s more exciting than just taking someone to the ground. That was my thing only. I wanted to keep it exciting so I decided to keep it standing. It had nothing to do with anybody else. That was all me."Somewhere between the two statements, Petruzelli is lying. It's hard to tell which it is, but it wouldn't be surprising at all if EltieXC had discussed tactics with Petruzelli, and told him what they would rather see, for the purpose of increasing Kimbo's chances of winning. If this is true, this is yet another huge black eye for EliteXC, an organization that is already on the ropes. If they were indeed paying Petruzelli to alter his fight style to play to Kimbo's strengths, then these are some serious allegations. The Florida State Athletic Commission would have to investigate this, and it would almost certainly mean the end of EliteXC as we know it if they were to find wrongdoing.EliteXC Jared Shaw, who will most likely be at the center of any pending investigation, claimed in a postfight interview that the event was a success, and that he had no rooting interest in Kimbo's fight. This statement seems ridiculous to anyone who saw the fight, and noticed Jared jumping out of his seat screaming at the ref to stand the fight up again, a move that would seem to benefit Kimbo Slice, since his only strength is clearly his punching.

That Junie kid is freakin nuts, what is he thinking?I like the preview for next episode, Anderson Silva's kicks are so freakin fast and powerful. You forget how behind the curve everyone on the show is until you see a pro in action.

I wonder if the other fighters have any say whether he gets kicked out or not, or if its all up to Dana.During the tussle at the pool he full on kicked another fighter in the stomach, and I'm pretty sure that warrants a boot from the show. If I was the guy who got kicked I don't know if I would want the guy to go home, but I would definitely want to have some kind of say in the decision.Actually it looks like he might get sent home anyways after hopping in the ring. He is seriously psycho... will probably end up in jail. Also I recognized John Polakowski on this season's show. He trained with Chuck Liddell in San Luis Obispo where I went to school, and he bartended at a bar called Bull's Tavern with a bunch of other fighters. Anyways my cousins came to town for their friends 21st birthday and I met them at Bull's. They have this birthday shot with 151, mixed with tobasco sauce and a bunch of other shit. The birthday guy drank it and immediately threw up all over the floor. So John hops over the bar and says that one of my cousin's threw up, not this other guy. My cousin was pretty drunk and starts going off on John screaming at him and chest bumping him while John just stood there and did nothing. Finally the bouncer came and kicked our whole group out. I just thought it was funny that my cousin was trying to pick a fight with a potential UFC fighter lol

I wonder if Shamrock had the same arrangement, then came to the conclusion he couldnt win that way and looked for a way out? Now there is talk of Shamrock vs Shamrock at EXC, a fight like that would go further in supporting the stateement that EXC doensnt give a shit about mma and is just a gimmick. 60 million in the hole and there isnt even close to a legitimate division in the organization, these guys couldnt run a piss up in a brewery.
