freak2304 0
My statement is obviously on-point since nobody can try to go against it. I win!!!
bmtphs05 0
I predicted a 34-17 final. If they kicked that late FG and didn't miss an XP it would have been 33-17 instead of 29-17. That game would have been one of the biggest blowouts in history if it weren't for the rain. Those two teams didn't belong on the same field. Save for the goofy first play and the slippery ball, Manning was able to get whatever he wanted done while Grossman, as predicted, did absolutely nothing. Hate to say I told you so... actually, no I don't! Colts were WAY WAY WAY the better team.Barring some field goal shenanigans and extra point miscues, i could've been a little closer to my 31-20 call, but I'll take it. Was a good night, though I still don't agree completely with Manning winning the MVP.
Jdr999 0
It just means they can win in quite a few different ways. Which is why they're a much better team than people give them credit for. Look at the first 7 games of the season, Rex was an MVP candidate. If he kept that up all season, they'd be saying he's the best in the league right now. If he just gets marginally close to how well he played in those games on a fairly consistent basis, then this team will be ridiculously good.No.Week 1 @ Green Bay Packers: 18/26 262Yds. 1TD, 1INT. Week 2 vs. Detroit Lions: 20/27 289Yds. 4 TD. Week 3 @ Minnesota Vikings 23/41 274Yds. 1TD, 2INT. Week 4 vs. Seattle Seahawks 17/31 232 Yds. 2TD. Plus, he played against some awful teams. Only team out of these 7 that finished with a winning record was Seattle.

LT and Brees came into the discussion more towards the middle-2nd half of the season.
CBass1724 1
Defense wins championships and obviously Indy's D peaked at the right time. Da Bears couldn't get Peyton off the field and when they did, they couldn't do anything with the ball. Grossman looked very inexperienced...which he obviously is. He can't get any worse and has Superbowl experience now to build on. Indy controlled both lines of scrimmage. I actually thought the rain would favor a team like the Bears because of their D and Indy's lack of run defense...as well as Peyton normally being inept when there is no 72 degree air conditioning. That is why they play the game. astros11ss 0
does anyone else get the feeling that like mike ditka once slowrolled the **** outta DN and then taunted him and as a result DN has a vendetta against the chicago bears..? i really can't fathom any other reason he would start a post saying "haha i told you i was right lol the bears are the worst!!11one" after already writing a blog talking about how bad the bears are and how the colts are going to win. either that or dn is the worst sports better ever and just gets really excited anytime he picks the right side and as a result needs to come brag to the forum about it

mrtuchas41 0
DN should definately get his due for a good call on the game........right on the money ! Looks like you were about 50/50 on the props ?I will now pat myself on the back, for NOT betting the game, as I did not receive my required 8.5 points for Chicago, (as outlined in my last post) but did win both of my props,......not that I didn't have to sweat out the penalities ! Hey DN, The publisher tells me that your latest book is now delayed for at least another 30-60 days.....! Do you plan to have it released sometime this century ? I've had it on order for weeks already.....I'd hoped to read it while I was traveling this Spring.Congrats again on the game, it was a perfect size wager....
