ramenandeggs 0
$2 9 man turbo Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem TournamentBlinds: t150/t3007 playersConverterPre-flop: (7 players) Hero is SB with K♥ K♣4 folds, Button raises all-in t850, Hero calls t700 (pot was t1300), BB folds.Me and BB are even stacked at around 4k. Everyone else hovering around 1k. BB has been aggressive, but took a beat and has picked it back up after doubling with kings a couple hands ago. Since he was being aggressive, I was hoping he'd raise and pick up the dead money. Worth it or am I giving BB too good of a price to see a flop with ace x? I know it's usually better to just play straightforward in these low limits but everyone in these limits also love raising so much.

Sea Wasp 0
I think your giving too much credit to these guys in a $2 tourny. Push your stack in there and dont get fancy. The play has some credit against the right kind of opponent is certain situations however this is certainly not it. ABC poker at these levels always works best.
copernicus 0
This has nothing to do with a "squeee play", button is already all in so theres nothing to squeeze. Its just a slow play of Ks.Its not just an A youre worried about but any weird trips/2 pair flops button could pick you up and stack you with. You can't give him nearly 3:1 and expect it to be a good play in the long run. Also, what do you really gain by calling here? An isolation raise tells BB that you have a hand solid enough to beat a first-in vigorish all in, but it certainly doesnt declare a monster so youre not giving away information. What flop helps a hand that couldnt call pre-flop, but will call on the flop, but doesnt move him past you?I would min-raise here, knock out the garbage hands, and hope you get a call from the underpairs. tskillz187 0
I like this play more in a MTT than STT. And you also need it to be an actual squeeze situation with a LP raiser (not going all in) and also you need to know that BB or whoever is after you is a smart player that is also aggressive to over aggressive. I've personally been caught in these a few times because I look for reraising opportunities to build, but I'd never consider doing it in anything lower than a 30+3.
Bubba83 0
I liked your line just because I noticed it's a low buy-in turbo. The people who play in turbos are nuts, anytime they see a bunch of dead money they will just shove with anything a lot of times to get the pot heads up with that dead money in it.However, I also agree that this play is generally better in an MTT.Especially when we're on the bubble and we have someone trying to rob everyone blind to act behind us. ChrisRichey 1
Seems like a case of FPS to me. Go ahead and either minraise or push.
GABMAD 0
What sea wasp and copernicuz said is right on. These were going to be my points.
simo_8ball 1
I don't mind it. Given how attached players at low limits get to top pair or even middle pair I think we are good to slowplay here. It would be fantastic if BB called with a hand like QJ or 88. I don't think there's a lot in it any way you play it.
