This Looks To Be The Best Deposit Method Yet...

Recommended Posts

-a guy on myspace sent me this message..i just tried it out, and it worked perfectly.. i thought some of you guys may be able to benefit from this:Go to the local department or grocery store and look for Gift2Go prepaid gift cards (they have the "Visa" logo on the card) or go to the Web site: Gift2Go. If you order through the site, it takes a couple days to get the card. If you get it at the store (Walgreens has them along with many others) you can fund your account immediately. This works just like any Visa transaction but does not get declined like most regular Visa cards from US residents.Hopefully soon a big payment processor will emerge to take Neteller's place. In the meantime, Gift2Go gift cards look to be the flavor of the moment. It costs $3.99 for a card and I believe you can get them up to $250. I've also heard $500 but haven't seen those. If you need to deposit more, buying multiple cards works like a charm (obviously you'll need to pay the $3.99 on each one). -i just got finished depositing on stars..the largest gift card they had at my wallgreens was a $100 card..i bought two, tried to deposit, and they worked perfectly..-

I work for SunTrust, and we sell Visa gift cards, I can't remember all the amounts but I think they go upwards of 500. Other banks may sell the, but I know we do. There is still the 3.95 fee though.

FWIW, there are also pre-paid Visa cards that work like a Visa but you can load more money at a time than you can for Visa Gift cards...most up to $2,500 rather than buying a card for a pre determined amount. You can also set up direct deposit etc... to go on to them. Most Payday Loan companies now carry them. They do cost about $9.99 to buy and some have other fees attached when you use them so shop around but they may be another option if you're looking to put more $$ on a site at once.

I'm assuming just like any other credit card deposit since the card uses the Visa system to transfer money.

Has anyone successfully deposited w/ a prepaid VISA yet? I was thinking the same thing, but didn't know if VISA would block the deposit anyway, or if it was just our good friends at Chase or Wachovia that do that. Also, you can get a prepaid VISA thru PayPal that is allegedly good anywhere on the web. Would those work as deposit methods too?Or should I just email support at PS or FT? (and FCP of course)P

im probably just retarded :club: ... but how do you get your money onto stars after buying these giftcards?
You deposit it just like any other visa. Open the deposit screen and look for a visa button. Once you click it you just enter the card# and the amount.

I've been using Epassporte and it seems to work fine. I had to call my credit card company to verify that it was me making the charges (they are treated like cash advances). I haven't verified my bank account on there yet.
