TCTC 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 If you read my past posts I am not one to spew nonsense and I know this topic has been discussed in the past week, but I thought I would post this chat.I thought a few posters on here from the US like partypsux, hoosier, etc. were getting carried away with their worries about cashouts and the sky is falling with all the new legislation. I thought hoosier was going on and on and worrying about nothing.I always figured that the poker and sportsbook sites that were the biggest and that had been around the longest would still thrive. I thought that they were stable enough and wouldnt risk a great business even without the US players. I use to play mainly on Party Poker and now I play on Full Tilt, Poker Stars, and WSEX mainly.I dont bet on sports and WSEX has the 100% rakeback which can add up quickly if you play enough, but they dont have alot of players. I just thought I would pass along this chat from the WSEX support staff so that if anyone has any money on there, they can make a decision on whether its safe and whether or not they should cash out and hopefully get their money. I thought WSEX was one of the oldest and best known sportsbook around and would be stable, but now I am not so sure. Everytime she asked a serious question about her money the guy delayed in answering it for up to 5 minutes sometimes. Makes me think he was getting instructions from his boss on what to say. So it makes me think he was making up lies. I dont know what to think anymore with this online crap. It makes me worried that my money is in jeopardy now on WSEX, FT, and PS.Anyone else having cashout problems on these sites? TCTC 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Share Posted January 25, 2007 Let me add one more thing.Yes, I know patience is a virtue, but with all the other cashouts that Cindy or I have ever made we have received the check via FedEx within a couple of days. We have never had any problems before.This cashout has been going on almost 2 weeks. There is no way FedEx takes 2 weeks. Also, this is the first cashout for either one of us within the past month. The past month/few weeks has seen a flurry of activity in regards to many companies no longer accepting US players trying to cashout or trying to make deposits.Hopefully it has nothing to do with all the stuff going on in the past few weeks and it is just a coincidence. I just hope some of these poker companies are not having a cash crunch due to a high volume of US players not being able to deposit fresh money and/or due to a large volume of US players trying to cash out.Hopefully they dont need new deposits to cover the cashouts, sort of like a pyramid. Hopefully they also dont have a panic run by people cashing out and end up short of money to cover cashouts.Hopefully I am being like hoosier and worrying about nothing.Just wondering if anyone else is having anh problems with WSEX?ThankTCTC Link to post Share on other sites

I have never had a problem cashing out nor has Cindy. But tomorrow/Friday it will be 2 weeks waiting for FedEx.It just worries me that all this cashout/deposit stuff has hit the fan in the past 2 weeks and then this cashout has turned into a problem.I dont usually overreact, but I would be lying if I said it hasnt entered my mind that there could be a bigger problem here and that the timing of this delay isnt simply a coincidence.Hopefully, they are just adjusting to the new laws and regualtions and are having a delay due to getting all the cashout methods straightened out.It just seems strange that is affecting them sending a check via FedEx though and causing a 2 week delay.
