xmykro 0
Victor Ramdin just took a HUGE hit. Victor Ramdin raises to $13,000 and Young Cho reraises from the small blind an additional $25,000. Ramdin calls and the flop comes Adiamond10diamond3spade. Cho bets $40,000 and Ramdin raises to $120,000. Cho makes the call and the turn is the 8diamond. Cho checks and Ramdin announces all in. Cho immediately calls for his last $199,000 and shows Jdiamond5diamond for the flush. Ramdin turns over Aheart10heart for two pair. The river comes the Qclub and Cho wins the pot. Ramdin is left with around $90,000 chips. From the big stack to a short stack in one swoop. ouch.
nutzbuster 7
With K 5 2 on the board, Eskimo Clark moved in and Daniel Negreanu called all-in, showing pocket Tens. Eskimo held K 9 and was ahead, but runninghearts gave Daniel the flush with his T and the pot to double up.Eskimo gets his last chips in against Matt Russell and Hoyt Corkins, with J 6 5 on the board. Eskimo had the nut flush draw and Hoyt had the open-ended straight draw, but Matt had pocket 6s and had flopped a set. The turn was another 5, pairing the board and Matt made the full house to eliminate Eskimo on the bubble.Paul 'Eskimo' Clark finished in 28th place, earning $0.The bubble has burst. The clock has been paused as the remaining 27 players are redrawing for seats at the final 3 tables. The final 27 players have agreed to continue playing down to 18 today. nutzbuster 7
BLUFF magazine pounding on Daniel pretty hard.Doesn't seem like they want to paint him in the best light.WTF? 1/23/2007 3:34:08 PMWe're In The MoneyAfter going hand-for-hand for just two hands, we're in the money. Eskimo Clark, who was crippled by anti-Southernite Daniel Negreanu, got his meager stack in along with Matt Russell and Hoyt Corkins and came out on the wrong end of the deal. Russell's 6-6 hit a full house on the J-6-5-5-4 board to double through Corkins on the hand, stacking him up at a crucial time in the tournament and sending Clark out on the bubble. We're now at 27 players and TD Johnny Grooms is about to let us know whether we'll be continuing play today. 1/23/2007 3:28:33 PMAnother Big Pot For Carpetbagger Daniel NegreanuA jumping, shouting crowd over in the corner of the room means only one thing: Daniel Negreanu, who drunk up all the Haterade before venturing down to Tunica, has doubled his stack again. This time it was at the expense of Eskimo Clark. Negreanu, Clark, and Mark Seif were in the pot going to the 5-2-K, two-heart flop. Clark pushed in first to act, and Negreanu thought for a long time before making the call with T-T. He was well behind Clark's K-9, but the runner-runner hearts gave him a flush to cripple Clark. 1/23/2007 3:24:12 PMNegreanu Doubles Up; Crowd Oohs, AhhsDaniel Negreanu has looked like a man praying to make the money for about the last 45 minutes, hanging on to his short stack as it dwindles away, but he finally found a spot to get his money in - and it worked out. He moved in with 8-8 and flopped top set to bring himself back up to about 95K.The crowd responded enthusiastically, which normally wouldn't be such an odd thing, considering how popular Negreanu generally is. We're guessing that the folks in the crowd haven't heard his repeated, pointed comments about his distaste for Mississippi and the South during his stay here, including that everyone should be locked in jail for what they feed their children. Maybe these people just don't have kids?

Derswick 0
Lead the tourney all the way, talk bad to DN and....................Victor Ramdin Eliminated 24th ($17,137)On a board of 873, Brian Gabrielle checks and Victor Ramdin moves all in for his last $53,000 chips. Gabrielle makes the call and shows 109 for a straight draw. Ramdin turns over J10 and is in the lead. The turn is the 2 but the river brings the J, giving Gabrielle his straight and eliminating Ramdin from the tournament. That'll learn ya.
