If they lose money overall then they are not pro. If they make money and live from it which can include endorsements then they are pro.

Peyton Manning gets tons of money from his DirecTV Deal, and he still plays football and is considered a pro. These guys have these endorsements because they are pros.
does payton manning still make money playing football?If payton doesnt make money and plays for free or pays to play does that still make them a PRO..??your argument is stupid

I always thought there was something fishy about that Tiger Woods guy. :club:
perfect example....if a pro golfer stops making money..he loses his Tour card. Ty Tryon signed a huge contract from playing golf and he can live on that forever..He lost his TOUR card , is he still a professional if he plays and doesnt make any money from playing?

I don't think they make millions from books, games, and site endorsments. Most people would never buy a poker book, and of the few who would most won't even make it through the first chapter let alone read it and have the desire to buy another book.

Yea I was at Dave and Nikki's house this week and Dave even has this poker book with the most ridiculous mathematical equations it would make an engineer shoot their face off
