Off To Vegas On Saturday For 7 Days - Suggestions?

Recommended Posts

HelloI'm going to Las Vegas this Saturday for a week for my friend's 30th birthday. There's a group of 7 of us going and we're staying on the Strip. 3 of us are poker degenerates and will have bankrolls of $1k-$2k for the week, looking to play a combination of NL cash games and tournaments. The others are recreational players and will probably play a bit.I was hoping on getting some suggestions for:- what's good to do on a Sunday club-wise, and what will lines be like? (my friend's actual birthday) - what are good bars to go to, for any day?- what casinos run satellites into their bigger buy-in tournaments?- what casinos run sit-no-gos and for what stakes?- any recommendations for juicy NL cash gamesthanks

I stayed for 3 days, a good time. Did not go to any clubs sadly, i was there mostly to gamble and take in the sites. Black and the club at treasure island are what everyone talks about there. For no limit, the juciy 1-2 games are at the monte carlo, Wynn, and Caesars. I also recommend eating at this tiny little mexican cantina near circus circus. If you are coming from circus, walk up the strip and it is right across the street from harrahs, i forget the name of it, but it is inside this old cowboy casino near the stardust, i paid like 5 bucks for a drink and some of the best pot roast qaesadilas i have ever eaten.

www.allvegaspoker.com....i had a great 12k weekend there playing 5/10 NL at the bellagio....filled with mooks
waaaa i want to play poker. only cash games down here in florida at the hardrock casino is 1/2 2/2 limit...and I've learned its a little too hard to walk with a good profit. I got to go to vegas once. It was my first live game after playing online for about a year. I only played at the 2/4 limit holdem but I made 300 bucks for my first time in live play. And since I had to come back here to florida, its the only money I've made live. Guess I have to play tourneys and get good against all the regulars. I just liked vegas because most of the people weren't serious players trying to earn a living. There were actually drunk people at the table that basically giving away their money. I thank the Nascar event going on that day I played.
