Tickets haven't gone on sale yet, and I think it'll be tough to get them, but I'm pot committed now. If anyone has a hookup, please step forward now. good man! how much was the flight? I looked into Vegas to SJ flights out of curiousity, wasnt as easy to find a cheap flight as I would have hoped. holy crap Zach, I just realized when I hung out with you in Vegas, during Pens finals vs Wings, it was 2009. That was 7 years ago!! I looked into SJ too. Seems like SFO is a better airport to fly into, at least from Toronto. Direct flight on Porter was $355 return. Not great, not the worst. Figured I won $170 in the office pool, no reason not to spend $1000 on an experience. LOL Hotel was $135/nt on Hotwire. Meh. DoubleTree downtown that I've stayed at before. Looked into renting a car and driving. $125 for the car plus insurance, gas, parking and twice as much time, all in. Not much cheaper. And ya, I watched both 08 and 09 finals in Vegas. The 09 one was great. I flew home day of game 7. Had to change my flight lol. I think 09 was the time John hit the royal flush at 5 card poker or whatever that game was? Then I got "lost" at that M casino well off the strip. I just remember I was wearing my jersey, so must have been after a game we watched. And we went to Peppermill and Ray fell in love. His dad or grandfather have a camp (cottage) on the same lake as mine, which is a small lake that is like 95% family. However, one of my best friends from elementary school, his family was friends with the Murray's, so they'd go out and stay with them, and I'd spend a lot of time in their cottage with them. I don't remember if there were ever little kids around, but also, I would have been like 12 myself, so Matt Murray would have been... 2-3. LOL. Link to post Share on other sites

Just a tough schedule from there unless I want to waste about 30 hours driving to/from and at this 1 game. So now I'll get to play some cards on the flight with Phil Kessel, Chris Kunitz and Bonino. It's a long one so we'll have lots of time to hustle Phil. He thinks he's a player, but I think the guys in Toronto let him win because he hasn't won much this year. Phil talks a big game. He's the No. 4 ranked player at the table out of four.
