TylerSalzman 0
This is bad..... he sounds like a whiny child tattle tale trying to tell the teacher to get these guys in trouble. Sad, just sad. His read is way off and he makes it a huge ordeal. It's not often that Shikan comes out looking okayPHIL LOSES IT

nutzbuster 7
Phil = Tiger.Helmuth-copters!
DonkSlayer 1
I didn't think Sheiky said much and he did be quiet after Phil said something."Hit By a Bus" couldn't quit needling him.And Huck Seed was just a huge co.ck. That's all there is. I understand Phil more here than I did when he just got outplayed in HSP.
outsider13 0
Obviously he over did it in Hellmuth fashion, but he was right. He's been put all in and guys are yuk yuking around him like it's a joke. Not all that respectable. Other players should respond to his rants like Antonio E. did in Poker Superstars III. Turn away and laugh to yourself. He's like the T.O. of poker now. Anything he does will get over-publicized and over done.
handsfactor 0
Am I the only one who was praying that Huck Seed called for the clock, when he was trying to get the producer to answer him. That would have been phenomenal to see that blow up. Also a quick question I've never watched Poker after dark. I thought they were playing a tournament but they had Cash behind them, can anyone explain why?
aaron53705 0
It's winner take all so they can use cash. They are playing for the total value of chips/cash on the table.
Wandigo 1
Am I wrong or did they tell Phil that she showed A8?
GoStags92 2
Am I the only one who was praying that Huck Seed called for the clock, when he was trying to get the producer to answer him. That would have been phenomenal to see that blow up. Also a quick question I've never watched Poker after dark. I thought they were playing a tournament but they had Cash behind them, can anyone explain why? There's no clock in Poker After Dark.I think that they've added the cash as a way to make the game more interesting for watchers. I think that the chips are also real chips (as opposed to tournament chips). Since it's a one table SnG where winner takes all, there's not much of an issue with either. delphi12 0
The problem with this show is that its obvious the producers asked them to chat it up and make it entertaining. Thats why theres very little commentary. Even this weeks first episode, Shana Hiatt asked Jamie Gold why he wasnt trash talking at the table and then afterwards he started saying some stuff.Phil is fine when he's dishing it out, but can't handle it when its on him. And btw, if you really believe that you are gullible. Phil is an actor. He loves the airtime. Couldn't care less about winning or not winning that particular hand. He knew he was folding the minute it was raised by the person who was a 200-1 longshot against him (isnt that what he said about her when they were headsup on that one tourney). But he was able to use the comments to get more airtime.I actually needled him on Absolute Poker the other night about it. I said, "hey phil, do you really think poker will die out if you boycotted every event." His response, "yes." That proves it. He made a threat that, "i won't be playing another one of these if this is how its going to be run" He really believes that HE is the one everyone cares about. That people watch for HIM. What we can do as a society is stop that nonsense by NOT writing about him. By NOT talking about him. Sadly, that just cant happen because people think hes some God. he's not. Tiltinagain 977
I think that, while the other players were out of line for talking about the hand with a play left to act, it just goes to show that the other pro's are just as annoyed at Phil's tired, attention whore antics as most of the rest of us are.Odds on who is the first pro to knock phil out (literally) during a tournament?Btw....in case you didn't know, Phil has been playing for 22 years! gg himI couldn't agree with Delphi more
hockey fan 0
In general Phil was right, but he brings this on himself with his childish and prima-donna behaviour. If this was DN do you think he'd get the same reaction if he asked for quiet?...or someone like Doyle? He has to learn that in order to gain respect he has to earn it first. This will be just one more incident to fan further disrespect from his fellow players.

handsfactor 0
Odds on who is the first pro to knock phil out (literally) during a tournament?Sam Grizzle already did it during a cash game. They mention it during the 2003 WSOP
Seattleallstar 0
its just all an act now I thinkalthough there is that one US poker championship where he had 2 blowups I think, Surrinder Sunnar and Ken Flaton were also at the final table
Seattleallstar 0
Sam Grizzle already did it during a cash game. Balloon guy 158
Gus started the whole thing and got a total free ride. Even on this thread no one blames Gus.I also liked Phil in his comment section in Best of HSPII: " I didn't sign up for Jerry Springer..no comment..no comment..no comment." TopJimmy2U 0
Phil did appoligize on his web site about the blow up, but it was definatly fun to watch
DonkSlayer 1
Phil is a tool and can be a little obnoxious..but he's rarely malicious and is a good ambassador for the game. Who the hell is Huck Seed, really? Huck has been nothing but shi.tty to Phil since they decided not to be friends anymore. We should all definitley support the tools in life before we support the fu.cking jerks. That is all. Pot Odds RAC 23
I love when he finally sits back at the table and orders a drink:"Bring me a White Russian... make it a double"Har!Would you like a pink skirt with that?
pokerglory 0
He has to learn that in order to gain respect he has to earn it first. This will be just one more incident to fan further disrespect from his fellow players. He does have 10 World Series of Poker Bracelets. He has been playing for 22 years and made 20 million dollars off reading people. He is the best No-Limit Texas Hold'em player in the world. Are those not enough credentials?
