Wandigo 1
If I offered $12 to you to shove the first hand no matter what, would you do it? Win/Win situation, just wanna know who would do it.(I'm not paying anyone, just a hypothetical question.... RAB said he would do it)

If someone calls and I win, im in great shape, and if i'm called and lose.. well, there are always more tournaments.

no not baxter 0
Yes in a heartbeat. Its a $11 online tournament. You can just hop into another tourney if u lose (or if u win for that matter).75% everyone folds and you take blinds --- + $1215% someone calls and you lose --- + $110% someone calls and you double up gaining a nice stack to take on more donks --- + $12 and a nice stackNow, I have a REAL question. You drive 70 minutes down to your local Indian Casino to play a $150 tourney with decent/good structure in the first 2 hours, but then turns into a total crapshoot. You rarely go down for the tournament. The tournament is starting within minutes and the field is capped. You and your friend already have your ticket. Some man offers you $180 for your ticket. Do you accept his offer and wait for your friend to win/bust and gain $30 right there or do you decline his offer and play the tournament?

I often find myself in this situation during weekly Turning Stone tournaments. I want to play them because I play much better in tournaments but the structure and starting stack is total crap and by hour 1 the thing is completely a pushfest. I'd take the $180 and consider that my profit for the tournament. I'd then take that $30 straight to the craps table and put $15 a piece of 4 and 10. Just because.

Altho the tourney may be -EV, you gotta play it after coming all that way. You cash and you're guaranteed over $15 (I would assume).btw, triple up in the first 2 levels of the MM. Gotta love it. JJ vs 1010 on flop of 962. AJ vs 99 on board of 66JA4.
