HijackedAffairs 0
I think I misplayed this hand. Is this way too passive of a line? 2nd hand. bdc30 0
Only thing you could do differently is fold preflop. After that, the hand sorta plays itself out.Your position sucks. Your hand isn't that strong. You either lost as little as possible, or won all that you were going to win.
Pot Odds RAC 23
Play pretty much defines the term "Passive".Fold to the preflop raise. Bet after the flop. I don't really put the Villan on a hand.
SCS 0
I'd bet out on the flop. I think you gain more information about the strength of your hand by leading out on the flop instead of checking it.
runforrestrun41 0
I bet on the flop as well. If hes got a strong king then he re-raises, if hes got nothing and doesn't bluff a lot, you have him.
pokerplayer24 0
Raise preflop. Limp folding seems terrible.Postflop is pretty blah cause of the way it was played pre. I probably cr the flop though and go from there.
krup24 0
with no reads I play it the same. i've been letting villians hang themselves lately and this is a decent pot to pick up. i think the hand is played fine.
prodddiii 0
Im thinking the villian had a hand like KQ or AQ here and believed you for turning a set, he bet for information and he assumed that a call ment a set, also the fact that he checked the river. Im not sure id like a flop raise because IMO you dont get much information and you're only getting a worse hand to fold, why not let him hang himself?
DonkSlayer 1
You didn't raise the blind and he still raised. If you're going to play past there, the flop line is bet fold, and lead the turn if called.
disctiger85 0
Ok, so a couple of people seem to think donk-betting the flop and folding to a raise is the way to go. But, if you're playing against me and you pull that, then I'm re-raising you here with pretty much anything, as a donk-bet on the flop is almost always a weak/mediocre hand wondering if it's good. I honestly like either a c/r, or a c/c. I don't hate the way it was played at all. Sometimes you need to let your opponents know that you will a)check TP and B) call them down, and even if we don't end up having the best hand, we get to see what he's playing(yay info). I'm always a fan of a little passive play to keep our opponents guessing and discourage their bluffing.
Lavitz 0
I like letting villians hang themselves in blind battles too. I like the passive play in situations like this, helps keep pot managable and lets villian continue to fire with air. Bad turn card though. Maybe bet/fold turn instead of check calling to gain some info. We really are going to be in trouble if he fires a river bullet and we're looking at a split pot at best.
