delasoul 0
Okay my raise wasn't that big pre-flop because I wanted action on the flop. Okay I thought my bet on the flop was big enough that he would possibly have some sort of pocket pair or maybe a drawAs I type this and re-evaluate at the same time that I look at this hand I didn't make a big enough bet on the turn but I got check raised. Was this enough information for me topossibly fold this hand here? Maybe I should have re-raised but I think that would have comitted me to calling the river so (imo) it's either push here or fold at this point.Thoughts?? Am I a Wussy if I decided to fold here?? My poor betting on the streets screwed up any chance of getting correct information. My gut as I waited till time expired was the guy boated on me Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.257 playersConverterPre-flop: (7 players) Hero is SB with UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BB folds, UTG calls, MP1 calls.Flop: :D ($2.5, 3 players)Hero bets $2, UTG folds, MP1 calls.Turn: ($6.5, 2 players)Hero bets $2.5, MP1 raises to $7.5, Results:Final pot: $11.
NoSup4U 0
I for sure raise more pf. What are stack sizes? I would get my money in with $10 behind or less, and probably fold otherwise as played. You could consider check/calling turn for pot control.Mark
delasoul 0
Whoopss...I new I forgot something. I was pretty much at max buy-in and he was somewhere around there as well. I probably should have bet more pre-flop. Usually open raises pre-flop at these stakes on FTP can be anywhere from .75-1.25. With this scenario this hand would have been played for stacks so maybe I made the right decision here. Only two conclusions was either I was way ahead or drawing to 2 outs. disctiger85 0
I usually push the turn here. Your turn bet looks super weak to any opponent and pretty much anything is re-raising you on that turn(8x, FD/SD, 55-KK...not sure how realistic some of the pairs are). I kinda doubt a 6 was calling the raise pf, and the bet on the flop. It just depends on the player I guess. But, I agree with everybody else. With limpers, you have to raise more than 3x preflop. Flop bet with relation to the pot is fine. Bet more on the turn, and if we get raised we have a little more info. Like Mark said, if you want pot control then C/C. C/R is fun if you are playing against an aggressive opponent, but usually isn't the best plan.
