2 hands in same tourney on stars...

Recommended Posts

On stars today in my a 6 man tourney, I turned my first ever ROYAL FLUSH. Oh and it was a beauty. I raised from the SB into 3 limpers with KQ of spades. 2 of the 3 limpers called, cutoff and button respectively. Flop came down As9c3h, I bet it out, and one limper flat called. He was a rather loose individual so I though I could have close to the best hand, or if another over came I could buy him off of his 9. Turn was the Js, I again bet out, this time he raised. So now I absolutely have him on J9 off. River is my T of spades. I wanted so badly to check, but this guy was playing the river very weak, and I felt a value bet here would be the best call. I bet out and he just called, which re affirmed my hunch that he would have just checked it down. Turned over the nasty Royal of Spades on him. Then in the same tourney, I was heads up with guess who? Yup, mister loosey goosey. I raised him all in which was only about 1600, I was holding A5 of diamonds. He insta-called with A8 of spades. Flop came down 3cKd2d, turn was the 3d, and river was the 4d. LOL! I turned a Royal and Strt FLush in the same tourney. L* :D

First hand in the College Poker Championships this week I had Q :D K :) . Flop came 9 :D 10 :) J :) . I flopped the straight flush. I forget how exactly I bet probably because my mouth was hanging wide open and drool was pouring out, but another player was holding 7 :D 8 :club: and when it came down to it he went all in and was just devasted. Someone else had the A high flush too. Good way to start a tourney. First straight flush I ever got via the nerdbox.

Wow...you are clearly not very good at no limit........you continuation bet and he calls.....and you think you still have "close to the best hand" (WTF IS THAT!?!?!)..but then if an overcard comes you can push him off a 9..in which case you no longer have the best hand?!?! and then after that you are talking about how "loosey goosey" he was and how he was weak as you raise him all in with a dominated hand!??! What!?! Yeah, the big hands are great...but don't let it go to your head.....might wanna tighten up your game a bit.
