kkot 0
Must earn 7.5 points for each $1 in bonus money.A point is earned when you see the flop and the pot is raked $0.50 or more.So that pretty much sucks.Discuss.
Valuecall 0
So that pretty much sucks.Discuss.I haven't played there in a long time becuase their full-ring LHE was far too tight & nitty. They always did have a good number of limit O8 games running, so that's a positive about that site.If UB and Absolute merge into one software platform with a combined player base, that would be good. mrdannyg 274
we've discussed this a bit, and Abba started a thread at swollyourroll.com that he'll probably link.for those playing 2-3 handed, this doesn't change much, and maybe even improve it, since you're playing every hand. even for shorthanded players, it doesn't hurt you that much.for full-ring players, it really kills us. cuts out more than 3/4 of the bonus i believe.still, bonus + RB + ARP makes it better than any site except WSEX, but maybe not enough better to make up for the poor software and game quality. quadaces 0
Yeah the bonus blows, I've got like 45 points playing .05-1 short handed. haven't cleared any of the bonus yet
Abbaddabba 0
For benefits, WPX is now the best option for small stakes players (and overall the best choice, in my opinion).
No_Neck 0
For benefits, WPX is now the best option for small stakes players (and overall the best choice, in my opinion).yeah I think that is where my next home will be but I have a feeling I am not going to like the software at all. I just need to play at a bonus site until I can get my bankroll up to a reasonable level.
Zach6668 513
Yeah, this is pretty much ultra gay.I was playing 1500 hands/day at a mix of 2/4 and 3/6 and I cleared $90 in bonus/day before they changed. Since then, I've played like 2k hands and I have cleared $30. Yay.If you notice, the higher up you go, the more ARP you get, so as you get higher, that somewhat makes up for it, but it kills us 3/6ers. I'm looking into other sites, but it's hard to match my nice rakeback from 3/6, with the new bonusm and honestly, right now, I actually like the tables, and they have DEFINITELY loosened up lately. mrdannyg 274
in order of goodness for the 1/2-3/6 player, and probably 5/10:WSEX (not close)AbsoluteRakeback sites - Full Tilt, etcCryptoStarsEverything elseCrypto sites are not as good as they seem, since the software is slow, and the games are incredibly tight. i'm semi not sober but i think that's right. If you're really high volume and Supernova, Stars is better than FT or any other RB sites. Abbaddabba 0
I agree with all of that. But i think crypto is **** for anything but the micro micro limits.Above that, just play wherever the games are good.

Valuecall 0
My thoughts on alternatives -- I've played many sites, but not UB & Full Tilt (maybe someday!). So others can give you input on them.First off, I think you'll have to bounce between several poker sites, since it is hard to match the virtually unlimited reload bonuses from Absolute.PokerStars -- they have 4 or 5 reload bonuses a year, so doing these is a must. Low-% RB equivalent from FPP points if you are a high-volume player and can get gift certificates with it.Tribeca -- I only have played at Doyle's Room, but they don't deduct bonus from rakeback. I have RB there, so while clearing the bonus it means 60% RB. Signup bonus is a nice $550 and equates to 33% rakeback. Rakeback for 27% is available, but they don't allow affiliates to advertise it; so you need to ask someone who has it for a referral. If you are outside the USA, I believe other Tribeca sites like Victor Chandler have a lot more reload bonuses, etc. Games are usually much looser than AP, though there is a lot of NL play there.Prima Skins - 30% RB is available, possibly more. Play USA evenings was always quite tight, maybe similar to AP. I don't have RB here. I don't really like the software.Bodog -- 27% RB is available -- again thru a "referral" because they don't allow affiliates to promote it. I believe the bonus is deducted from MGR. Game quality is notably looser than AP on average.Almost all my play lately has been on Doyle's Room and PokerStars.
mrdannyg 274
yep, i'll add that when i played on Tribeca, I found the play very loose. not much full-ring LHE, but horrible play when it did get going.if anyone has an RB deal for any of the Tribeca skins, please PM me.
