bipolarbear 0
haha, i forgot this was the comedy forum.after talking to his supervisor, he is now magically able to disable instacash! however, i chose the "limit transactions to $250 per week" option. i figure if my account is compromised i can probably fade that, rather than being completely cleaned out.thanks for railing, guys. HangukMiguk 8
that's pretty much bullshit.if i feel like i'm being treated unfairly by customer support anywhere, and especially when i know what i'm asking is within my rights as a customer, i instantly demand a supervisor.most people really don't know that in tech support, this is rule #1 (i know this for a fact, after working for verizon DSL support): if a customer asks for a supervisor, it does not matter what the reason is, the agent must get a supervisor on the line. the agent can no longer troubleshoot or do anything else for the customer except get that customer a supervisor, and if they do, they are reprimanded. once the customer says, "get me a supervisor," other than explaining the issue to the supervisor, the agent is done; and anything else is a disservice to the customer.thus, if an agent isn't doing what you feel is right, is incompetent, is rude, whatever, you can go straight over their head and request a supervisor and they can't do a thing about it.i had to do that with apple after my ipod would no longer be recognized on my computer, and the agent asked me to take it to the apple store and have them check the ipod out, and if it came back working fine, then i should call support back, and they would take my call for free. i did so, and was told i had my one call with apple support, and that i would have to pay for the call. i told the agent the circumstance, he wasn't buying it, so i asked for a supervisor, who immediately apologized for the miscommunication, and put me on the line with an advanced support agent to fix my issue.but yes, just in case someone says you can't disable instacash, ask for a supervisor, and they will get it fixed for you. i went off into a huge tangent.glad you got it resolved OP. bipolarbear 0
i agree. i'm going to start off every tech support call with "can i speak to your supervisor?". that will cut out the middle man.but seriously, do you guys think the $250 limit is a good idea, or should i just nix it totally? the only thing is that once you disable it, it is permanent, and if i ever need to reload my online roll, it would suck to have to pay a percentage and wait forever for the money to post. Zach6668 513
Hanguk,I'm a sup at a call centre. For the most part, we barely have any more powers, lol. I just work with the rebates you guys will never see, though.Neteller is usually super cool to me on the phone. They are based in Calgary, fwiw.Anyways, they told me when I enabled instacash that it wouldn't be closed again, but if you just demand to close your account or something instead, they will disable it. rgold79 0
I deposited on Stars a few weeks ago using Neteller with the instacash option - so basically even though I had no money in NT at the time the money was routed instantly from my account through Neteller directly to Stars and I never paid the instacash fee. Not sure if anyone else has had that experience or if that is a way to get around paying the juice.

Yoda 1
Funny, all these replies and nobody gives the answer. You can't "disable" instacash. According to them anyway. The correct Verbage is to ask them to make your Max Instacash limit $0. This is effectively disabling it.
terradawg 0
my favorite was when i was sitting next to my buddy and he asked to speak to a supervisor. the guy said he didn't have one and my buddy replied, "you are NOT the CEO."
