_OutKicked_ 0
Seriously, this **** is scary. Check out the article on P5's started by #1Pen where he was scammed by someone who hacked all of LilHoldEm's accounts. Honestly, what the hell do you need to do to keep all of your accounts safe? I'm sure Gov is exhausted from the upgrade but if when he gets back on or someone else that is "in the know" could post as many things as possible that we could be doing, I would appreciate it.This is very sick. Appears Chucksty is a victim here too. GL man getting restitution.
HoosierAlum 0
This is very sick. Appears Chucksty is a victim here too. GL man getting restitution.Chucksty got hacked too?!?!Yea if someone could post a list of everything we need to keep our systems as safe as possible I would greatly appreciate it. I know next to nothing about computers so I would need to be walked through it.
Naked_Cowboy 0
outstanding. my account is now closed as well. they said i need to talk to investigations but refuse to put me on the phone with them. what the hell is that about?
GWCGWC 83
Not that its anyones business, but I never keep 1 dime in there for longer than a few minutes. I just use it to transfer from site to site or to withdraw $ into my bank account, check, or Neteller card. With all the hacking stories I just don't trust that site. Unfortunately it is the most convienent so online pros really have no choice but to use it.I was kind of kidding about that....kind of. I have left money on neteller for significant chunks of time. I realized that was just silly and don't do it anymore. This is very sick. Appears Chucksty is a victim here too. GL man getting restitution.man oh manI suggest taking a password and shifting your fingers from home row up, down or over and this generates a password of jibberish.like password = [sddeptfif you shift over one key to the right. Not to be a nit or anything but is it possible that one of these programs could have possibly been the source of your hacking? Basically I am asking if these are 100% safe and secure to download...I don't want to risk anything. Also, could the virus that infected FCP recently be the source of these Neteller hackings? Basically I am asking if these are 100% safe and secure to download...I don't want to risk anything. Also, could the virus that infected FCP recently be the source of these Neteller hackings?it could, but i'm with vatche in possibly thinking that neteller has a breach. even if it was a keygen, i never type in my account id. i do type in my secure id, but never my account id. so how would they get that.yes, i'll admit that my old password use to be universally the same, but it just seems bizarre that they could get all my credentials. plus, my old password was pretty damn secure.i don't think any of the above programs contributed to it. HoosierAlum 0
idk I'm just skeptical of downloading anything that is free. For some reason I think that if I pay for something it would tend to be more secure and trustworthy...am I wrong for thinking this?
IQCrash 1
Just use Firefox with the NoScript add-on. Never worry about visiting ANY website again. You're welcome.

Naked_Cowboy 0
adviceI've called every day for the last 3 days, they refuse to let me talk to someone in investigations. told me "they don't take calls, they'll call you back within 24-48 hours". This was tuesday and every day since. My email to investigations went unanswered. What realy pisses me off is I found out about this while moving most of my stars BR off of stars and over to full tilt to clear some bonus. They accepted my cashout from stars but i can't get to the money now.

NO MORE E-MAILS! I WANT INVESTIGATIONS ON THE LINE NOW!"The guy offered a supervisor, and what a coincidence, en route there, he found the extension to the lady in charge of my investigation and transferred me. To clarifi, according to the p5's thread he was scammed despite thorough efforts to verify the borrower's identification. This is unrelated to any neteller hack.On another note though, i did receive a keylogger virus the day the forums went down but was able to successfully remove it immediately as my Norton Antivirus program went bizzerk (sp?). I'd recommend everyone running a full scan. GLAlso, 1 question about keyloggers...as their name suggests they simply log your keystrokes to determine your passwords etc, correct? If so, then my suggestion is to keep a password file and to always copy/paste it when using it instead of ever typing it out. I already do that with neteller ids since they're rediculously long. IQCrash 1
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/There's the link to download NoScript. Best addition you can ever make to your Firefox. It'll take some getting used to (Some websites will look funny until you allow their scripting, etc... ). Just a rule of thumb, use "Temporarily allow xxx" on the bottom right for most websites... the only ones you permanently want to have on are the ones you know you can 100% trust (and forums are not something you can 100% trust).
