Several months ago I had (for me) an outstanding session at a local Casino. As I left the Poker Room cage, I was counting my cash and adding the nice new 100s to my bank roll. I keep my parking ticket with my cash and I peeled it away as I approached the Poker management desk for validation. After getting my ticket stamped and adding it back to my cash roll, I turned around and saw an odd looking little guy looking at me and the cash in my hand. He quickly turned away and walked directly into my path - but then hurried forward. There is a little set of stairs (3 or 4 stairs) leading out of the poker room back into the main Casino. At the bottom of the stairs was the guy I noticed in the poker room - talking to three other guys just standing at the bottom of the stairs. My radar was pinging big time.As I passed them, they stopped talking and just watched me pass. Entering the Slot machine area I took a quick turn and then ran lightly serpentining toward the exit. As I left the slots, and just short of the exit, I stopped and turned around. A second or two later, the same guy came out of the maze that is the slot maching area - he was rushing and looking around. When he saw me standing there waiting about 15 feet in front of him, he stopped - our eyes met briefly and he sort of looked around and turned back in a clumsy manner. There is really only one way I knew to get from the Casino to the parking structure, and these guys knew I had validated my parking pass.I went to the exit and explained the situation to the Security guard and asked if there was another exit I could take to the parking structure. She said not really, but she scould get me an escort to my car. Male ego kicked in and I said no thanks and headed to the Valet parking exit downstairs. I quickly took a long route on the sidewalk to the parking structure and entered from the ground floor. As I drove out of the lot, I saw the four guys walking into the Parking Structure.

be more discreet with your money (why count a big win in public? just stick it in your pocket and wait till you get home, it's not going anywhere) and next time don't be a complete dumbass and just use an escort. i would be willing to bet that that "male ego" of yours costs you money in your poker games if you are unable to accept an escort to your car when you're alone and worried about getting rolled by four guys.glad to hear you got out safely though.

I'd have thrown the money to the ground, ripped off my shirt and beckoned all 4 of them towards me, saying "come on then, who wants it??" I then deliver a deadly one inch punch to the first guy... whilst simultaneously executing a perfect round house kick to any of the other 3 who have gotten within range. Immediately upon completion of this, I would headbutt one of the remaining two, breaking his skull. Then, while the last guy looks at me, unsure of what to do... I would smile, flexing my muscles in a rather intimidating manner. I think he may run off at this stage, even though he is armed with a Browning 9 millimeter handgun.Um..... on second thoughts, take the escort.

Valet every time. Just cost a couple dollars for a tip. At the casino I go to the valet entrance is right next to where the poker room is, so it works out well. The parking structure is on the other side of the casino and you have to walk a mile to get to the poker room.

"When you're Chuck Norris, anything + anything is equal to 1. One roundhouse kick to the face."You should have done the same to them.

I just pulled a groin (my own) just thinking about trying that.

why would you count it?...the guy in the cage had to lay it out nicely for the cameras so you should already know how much is there
Casino cash is not the only cash in my pocket. I was counting and arranging the bills instead of just stuffing money in my pocket - just my way of carrying $. Also was taking out the Parking Ticket for validation.

when I hit over 25 grand I just got a cheque much easier. There is a slot only casino in toronto that is known for people getting robbed. You hit 7 grand on a slot the attendent comes pays you cash in front of everyone. Who would you rather rob an old lady with 7 grand untraceable or a bank where your lucky to get 5 grand.

Never mind that. I'm so glad for you, man. When you arrived safely at home, what address was on the mailbox?
Subtle... I like it...I laughed out loud when I read this.

The last time I was in a casino I was escorted out by security. Right into the hands of the waiting police.

No, he said it would probably be a few months before he gets anything, that is if he ever does see any money.
