simo_8ball 0
I personally only make it $3 preflop, but $4 is equally standard. Just personal preference.I like a slightly larger lead at the flop - $8ish.The turn is all about stack sizes. How much did you all start the hand with?As played, the river is a standard call. petersun 0
Can't tell all the suites in your hand history, but why wouldn't you raise the turn here? He clearly has something he likes, and you have the nuts. Let's see if we can get the stacks all in here.

How much did you all start the hand with?As played, the river is a standard call.I agree about the flop bet...I rarely bet less than 1/2 the pot on the flop and when I see my opponents do it usually inspires me to raise them. I've always considered 2/3-3/4 the pot to be a nice range for continuation bets, as they usually get the information you want.I don't hate the call on the turn because if he's bluffing then we don't mind the possibility of him putting in more money on the river, and if he's betting 2-pair then he isn't drawing very live. I would probably put in a raise(if you think you might get bluffed off the hand) so that when the board does pair on the river, he's less inclined to bet out. But yeah, if you are planning on calling the river regardless, then I don't mind just calling especially if you have a good feeling he'll bet any river. The river makes me sick, but I call and puke if he shows some sort of boat.
rkard 0
The magic of cbetting 2/3 - 3/4 is that you're getting the same effect of potbetting at a discount

delasoul 0
You should be careful of the boat although the way he played it doesn't look like he has one. I call down here too with the feeling that it's a split pot. Would be surprised if he had a boat.
