How good is McClinton though, that kid will be a solid NBA player.
Miami is the best 15-9 team ever. Ship it.I thought UNC would be more dominant this season. Thats twice they let Miami hang around until the end....and for whatever reason McClinton is the only Hurricane to really show up this year (more was expected of Collins, Dews, Hurdle)....so Miami is basically a one man team.Going into this year I thought UNC was a lock for the Final Four (and 2-1 to win it all at worst) and now I can envision them getting unlucky or having an off day and getting knocked out early. I feel like they dont get the ball inside enough for whatever reason. They might just go into another gear in a few weeks though.

I ran into Roy Williams Tuesday night at our local casino, he was in town scouting a kid who plays up in Ames.Apparently he already has a scholarship offer from UNC, Duke, Kentucky and Kansas.
read a report on rivals.com that he was at the duke/carolina game and he was wearing a duke t-shirt and that its only a matter of time before he commits to duke.

He is from Ames, he can't be that good anyway.

Is North Carolina serious with this Bobby Frasor character? How is he a college basketball player? Did he win a contest before the game to play? I'm sure they can find anybody who's afraid to shoot the ball when they're wide open, make terrible passes, and trip over their own feet numerous times as their trying to dribble.Edit: This is my first attempt at watching a full college game this year...a couple thoughts:-Mix in a layup line. Both teams have gotta be in double digits in missed uncontested layups.-Is it possible to contest a shot in the paint without fouling?-What's the point in lining up at the ft line like that? I don't know what the stats are, but it's got to be easier to get offensive rebounds.-When Africans (not African-Americans, but Africans) pass the ball, why does it always look like their playing hot potato?-I only see one player with any above-average talent, that's not not hard to watch. That Douglas guy on Fla St.-I will never understand what the advantage is for teams to start calling timeouts for 3 minutes after every time they score. Ok, to set up their defense, but if they don't come out of the TO without pressuring full-court or trap when they cross the line, what's the point?Double Edit: So Hansborough is 3 pts short of the ACC scoring record. Does that only count ACC games, or does the NCAA tournament count, so he breaks it next week?

UNC has at least 5 guys on the team right now that will be in the NBA at some point. Hansbrough, Lawson, Green, Ellington for sure. Ginyard who is out with an injury will play on the next level as a defensive stopper with 3 point range. Plus they have a couple freshman bigs who barely play who will get there in 2-3 years. Depending on how much PT they get behind next years crop of 5 5 star recruits that are coming in.The record for Hansbrough is career points for an ACC player, yes the tournament games will count.

Lawson didn't play, and Hansbrough ain't gon' be nothin in the League. I agree with Ginyard, I saw him play last year a little bit and liked what I saw. I'd like Ellington a lot more if he didn't have a full wind up to get his jumper off.

I don't agree that he will be nothing in the NBA. He isn't going to be an all star, but he is going to be a solid bench player who can give you 12-18 hard minutes a night and play physically against power forwards. Coach's love guys like Tyler, even at the pro level.

Stephon Curry getting on 1st team all-america over Lawson is an absolute joke. Wish everyone would get off this kids nuts. Yeah he's good but that cute Davidson run two years ago was just that.....cute.And lol at Seth Curry transferring to Duke. Have fun kidoh and no one beats this team if they play like they did in the regional games. damn impressive. Ed Davis is a superstar. We may only have him for one more year imo. Ty Lawson is the stone cold nuts

I'm not that surprised Curry got first team over Lawson, he has to do more for his team to win than Ty does. The run with Davidson was last year though, not two years ago.Seth Curry going to Duke doesn't make much sense, they already have so many guards he better hope a few clear out during the year he sits or PT is gonna be hard to come by.
