I remember winning the Lake Tahoe FidPoker Open. Not sure how I did it, but I guess I was making the right decisions and the cards were falling my way, in general. Got down to head's up against AASnake, who had a 2 to 1 chip lead, but I fought back to even, it swayed back and forth a bit before I was able to gain the chip lead and not look back. I guess I just kept up the aggression and hit a few more flops than AA, but it was a solid match for me. AA was gracious enough to congratulate me, so hat's off to you for your courtesy, sir.Part of the prize was a head's up match against Fidler0. he probably received some special coaching from DN, as I'd recently ruined DN's Amazing Race Tivo experience. Fidler won a 45 minute match when I was unable to bet him out of a hand and he made a str8 on the turn to take the chip lead. A couple of hands later I had K7 and pushed, but he had K9 to dominate me, and that was all she wrote. GG!

i'm not sure if i am over the 30/30 new topic requirement, but i would like to see some feel-good moments posted here. rivering the big win, winning the big heads up match, or otherwise having a magic moment where you remember everything you love about poker.we all love to dwell on the bad ones, but let us not forget the grand!
Without a doubt, my first MTT win. A rush that hasn't been matched yet in the poker world. Close second was playing live in a casino for the first time (Even though I'm almost 27, My first time playing poker in a casino was just this past September.)

ok....so i started with some fpps. i played in a few of the 70 fpp sats to the sunday hundred grand. i lost the first 4 i think. Then i won 1. Cappy tells me 1 and 2$ mtts or sngs. I play a 1$ mtt and finish 39 out of 1900 or so. manage to run it up to around 40 bucks playin sngs and mtts and cash games, and then bam, busto again. Good news, i had some fpps to work with, enough for 3 of the 70 fpp sats, so i get in 1. loser AA on the 3rd hand, i was sick. Then i get in 2 more at the same time and like f it. get HU in both outchipped, by fair margins cant remember exactly, and manage to win em both. Made some nice runs in some small mtts, but just couldnt get over the hump. Then today comes, i have 40$, i run bad all day and have i think 12$ left. I reg in a 4.40 and run pretty good, finish 5th, play some omaha, and am over the 40$ hump to 70 whole dollars, and am now going to bed. Sorry this is kinda lengthy, but im feelin pretty good and can now try and make something out of nothing.

My whole BR started with $1.20 a year ago that i expanded to 20 and eventually lost. I stopped playing for a while and concentrated on school/work/hockey. One day realized i had some FPPs, went in $250 10FPP then everything started rolling. Have now taken down a few $4.40 180mans. So i guess my feel good story is turning nothing into a BR way more than all my friends when they consistently deposited hundreds.

My two stories:Turned an $11 DS win into a SM seat, played my first SM and got 7th for $21,902.10Turned a $5.50 45-man SNG win into $50ish, sat down at .25/.50, ran it up to $80, played in a $77 turbo SM satellite, placed, and then bought into a $100+9 30k guaranteed at 11:30 all in the same night. Won it 6 hours later, $9,000

Was down to my last $25 yesterday and ended up playing 24 SNGs with a 60% ROI and have a healthy bank roll of $230 again. Not quite the monstrous money other folks are talking about but quite handy considering I'm flat broke right now and couldn't have deposited more.

Clay Aiken; first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage??
Color me crimson!! As the war of our souls continues unabated, an echo reverberates through the desert lands of despair and discomfort, an echo which vibrates through our bones and sends a message to the deepest corners of our souls with but one message "Catatonic though we stand, fate has destined us to a higher purpose. So open your heart to the wind that passes you by, for it is a wind generated by the Creator of the Universe himself as he rushes to grab the hand of a wayward child in distress, to pick him up from the ashes of his pain, and to say with a voice of infinite and derelict glee 'Vestibules of light know not the beauty of their own being, and yet they continue to shine though unaware of the beauty their dazzling might displays. Come hither, dear child, for I have constructed a mirror of mayhem for you, that your fate may differ from theirs, that you might see what I see, taste what I taste, and feel what I feel. Behold!! For the image is your own!!'" May this be our parting cry as fate wields its sword of death, and we see at last that only as we pier through the layers of our own fastidious fortune that we can truly grasp the utter love that drenches our souls even now!! This I truly and honestly believe!! Wonderful!!

My friend asked me to play in a $1 MTT with him on Stars, but I said I couldn't because I had a fairly massive stack in a 180 SNG and I don't multi-table. We had just gotten back from the break if I remember, and I had about 7k with the blinds 75/150. Very first hand I have AKo in middle position. It folds around to me, so of course I make it...4500?! Yes, my very first misclick. BB shoves for most of the rest of my chips, and I'm racing. I don't improve, nor do I win my short stacked shove, so I go from a top stack to bust in just a few hands. Well looks like I get to play that MTT after all.Well, I won that MTT, beating about 700 players for my $290 score, which is still my biggest to date. If I hadn't typo'd my raise, there is almost no way I would have been out of the sng in time to play the tourney that I ended up winning.edit: just looked it up, $2 MTT, 687 entrants

my best story is talking to random people on AIM, winning a foolish prop bet for 5$ on FTP, winning a 4.40 9 man sng which gave me a 26$ token then obv winning that for 5k.

Playing in 1$ 1700 man tourney on stars. At one point, sitting 1284 out of 1287 players left. All in with kJ off against 3 others - and I win the hand. Sick cardrush follows (with obliging newbies to pay me off). Within 1 hour, and 3rd in chips. 4 hours later, my aj crushes the 3rd place finishers ak allin pf on a jjx flop. 10 min later I win my first tourney on stars - 300 bucks!!!!!Another highlight, winning a seat in the $530 Sunday million then selling it for $495! Big $$$ for a fish like me!!!And then I read all 3 HOH and the string of badbeats that followed has made me take up other hobbies.......ooo scratch that!

This is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me, sadly.
