lew189 0
Does anyone have experience with this game? Mostly locals/regulars or do tourists often play it? I'm going to stay at Bellagio in January and I'm considering taking a shot at this game. This is the outer limits of what I can risk in a game, though, so if it's a bunch of LAG pros, I won't play. Any comments about the play by someone who sits in this game often will be appreciated.
starfit 0
I railed that game for about a half hour my last trip out there. It was right on the outskirts of the room so it was easy to watch. There was a mix of players for even that limit. There were people that never played a hand, people that played every hand, and people that called all the way down with middle pair. Pretty much just like any game you play in.Hope this helps.

Vegas King 0
Thank you very much. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. Please keep posts about experience with this game coming.I think this is an excellent game. I have done very well in this game for a long time. Mostly locals and semi-pros in this game, but on the weekends there are usually a few live ones full of cash that are willing to donate. You must play tight and ultra agressive if you want to win in the long term in this game. If your going for a few days of fun you may want to mix it up a bit more, but the varience on your results could be $6-$8K over a weekend.

NothinbutNuts 0
About a year ago a buddy of mine lost 3k in the game at the bellagio. A series of the worst consistant beats I have ever seen. He was playing over his head but his comment was that it was full of rich guys (guys playing in their bankroll or just actual rich guys) who will call you down and chase and draw no matter how small. He was suicidal at the Luxor and we made sure he didn't jump he did go back the next day though and get the 20-40 for in a 35 hour session. He was still pissed about the 3k though. I say go and buy-in for the min. play tight see how the game is and see if you can build it up if you lose no big deal at least it's the minimum.Good Luck

PrtyPSux 0
30/60 is weak as hell. A ton of regulars the few times I've played. A bunch of bored house wives that suck at the game and probably have rich husbands...a few good players, mostly sucky ones though. Most of the young kids in the game are good from my experience. Taking a shot in a limit game is not a good idea from my experience though, too swingy and card dependant, limit is too much of a long run game. Although, if you run well at first you can book a solid win.

beans422 0
On weekends and holidays, that game can be pretty wild. You really need an above avg bankroll to hang with the swings of that game. When you find a good game, it can be super wild and you'll need hands. On the other hand, the day to mid afternoon game and the weekday games are often filled with pros who are just waiting for someone like you to sit down at their game and donate. So be sure to spec the game first and exercise good judgement for game selection. GL.
