Yeah, so I had a terrible night tonight playing poker, so I decided to blow off some steam playing blackjack on Absolute. It was pretty much the most ridiculous run of cards (as far as blackjack goes) that I've ever had. I was up 500 in about 15 minutes betting between 25 and 50 a hand. The moral of the story? Playing blackjack to try and get even is a good idea.

Back when I was still trying to build my bankroll, I was doing real well for a stretch and got my br up to about $700 or so but ran into a really bad night of cards and was left with $250 at the end of the night. Long story short, I played one hand of blackjack for $250 ..... and lost. Having blackjack on a poker site is the worst idea ever.

its funny. last time i went on tilt really badly was about 4 months or so ago and it was on party. i played blackjack and lost about 400, twice as much as i lost playing poker.what has this taught us? dont play BJ to get your roll back!

When you own a Poker Room, having BJ tables is possibly one of the BEST ideas for you!Reading this thread reminded me of some horrible nights. Very few, but so painful. Trying to built a bankroll, losing a small percentage of it with a single poker bad beat....And what's the most suitable (?) and easy (...) way of gaining back your loss? The small BJ icon on the top of the poker table is only a click away....Ok, I'll deposit $20 to earn back the $20 I just lost. Oops...the dealer keeps getting BlackJacks to beat my pocket Tens... Oh well, I'll get him now! I'll deposit 50$ and play $5 per hand. Only 5-6 consecutive wins and I'm off.Session started at 00.30 GMT. Session ended at 00.34 GMT. Net Winnings : -20 (Poker), -20-50 (BJ) = -90.And then I have to start all over again, playing at small limit tables, and slowly built my bankroll. Hell, I could have played $20+$2 MTT's with these 70$ I wasted!But what really annoys me most, is that I had been playing my best poker for days - not for me though, but for the Poker Room owners.Each time I enter a pokerroom with BJ tables, I click on the "View BJ Icon -> OFF" option - if there is one.That's another good reason why I love FullTilt! word. the day full tilt adds blackjack it he day i leave. since party shut down, the cash games are so weak its sick. i could beat 50$NL regularly before, but now im beating $100 and 200$ NL just as easily.

Has the standard of play really fallen that much? Ive played mainly on ladbrokes the last three years, but i'm getting tired of having to outwit those pesky scandi's all day long. So im thinking of playing on another site.
