ChrisRichey 1
M represents your stack size divided by blinds plus antes. Of course, the higher the better.Edit: plus X times the number of blinds, X is the number of people at the table.
DrawingDeadInDM 0
The number of 'rounds you can see without gaining another chip.If the blinds are 1k/2k with a 100, ante..at a ten hand table..10 x 100(antes) = 1k + 1k(sb) +2k (BB) = 4kIf I have a stack of 20k, I have an M of 5. Wandigo 1
What DDIDM said. If you read HOH2, he does a real good explanation of it and what you should take notice of when you are at certain "zones" of m.

AcesUp46 0
Do note that this idea of M is kinda superfluous. It doesnt' really exist. It's like the supply and demand curves in Economics...like you never actually see supply and demand curves in real life. Just like you never see M's floating around at the poker table or a big sign telling you that Hellmuth has an M of 10. M's are just an invention...a figment of deluded poker players' imagination. It's getting too late here. I've been up too long.
