BeaverStyle 1
Early in a $4.40, no real reads, but it's a $4.40... assumptions can be made.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Button (t995)Hero (t1895)BB (t3090)UTG (t1350)UTG+1 (t1600)MP1 (t2970)MP2 (t1400)MP3 (t1770)CO (t1460)Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, J. 2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 1 fold, MP3 calls t20, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.Flop: (t80) 4, T, 8(4 players)Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, MP3 checks.Turn: (t80) 7(4 players)Hero bets t80, BB folds, MP1 folds, MP3 calls t80.River: (t240) 3(2 players)Hero bets t150, MP3 raises to t400, Hero raises to t1200, MP3 calls t800.Final Pot: t2640Thinking I missed some value at the end, i raised villain and when he called, he had like 400 left. If he's reraising my river bet, he's probably not folding to a push, let alone a reraise (IF he's calling) so I should have pushed, I think. What do you think of my line? magnus72 0
I like your bettin on the turn and river. Bet the pot on the turn then bet a little over half the pot on the river. Probably came off as weak to him and thats why he raised you.
CoranMoran 0
Looks good to me. Thinking I missed some value at the end, i raised villain and when he called, he had like 400 left. If he's reraising my river bet, he's probably not folding to a push, let alone a reraise (IF he's calling) so I should have pushed, I think.Sometimes villains are more liekly to call when you leave a little something in their stack to play on with.--cm
GrinderMJ 0
I'm shoving like 90% of the time here.
WhiteSpade 0
I'm shoving like 90% of the time here.I assume you mean shoving to the reraise. I'm curious to what kind of situation might make you not do this 10% of the time?
GrinderMJ 0
I assume you mean shoving to the reraise. I'm curious to what kind of situation might make you not do this 10% of the time?Yes, after the reraise, I meant. The 90% is actually probably a little low, it's probably more like 95%. Something that would make me want to reraise smaller would be if I had a read that he valued survival quite a bit or could make big laydowns for his whole stack. In a 4.40 I'm shoving literally 100% of the time given the poor playing abilities of most players.
