I think we should have a thread dedicated solely to the "best hand"... gee, that would be swell... people could even put their stupid krablar stories in there with the rest of them... gee, I wonder if maybe BigDMcGee could make a thread like that ......As an aside... playing a $1 SNG with 25% JUICE is friggen retarded...

zach, people playing 1 dollar sit n go's are not playing to make money, just to have fun, so paying 25% juice isnt all that retarted.

Manlaw? No poker hand where the loss/gain was less than a c-note may be posted or discussed on any FCP forum?

Manlaw.I further submit for manlaw review by the FCP community that any post in observance of the mythical Krablar not be submitted as testament to Its greatness when It is not used as intended. The OP raised with Krablar (appropriate) but, by virtue of the fact that he was playing a limit game, was forced to simply call a bet with Krablar. I posit that, regardless of the structural limitations imposed on the Krablar-wielder, simply calling with Krablar preflop flies in the face of the very essence of its power. This is why the Almighty lends Itself better to no-limit affairs. Once the OP compromises the integrity of Krablar by merely calling with it, he ceases to become Krablar-wielder and is instead relegated to the role of "some schmuck overplaying K 3 offsuit."

Correct me if I'm wrong but I also was under the impression that the mystical Krablar was K-3 suited not off suit. Also agree you have to raise with it, not just call
I may be further misinformed, but I believe the consensus was K 3 of any suit qualifies as Krablar, and that if His Highness is sooted, then He is graced with the formidable title, "King Krablar."I could be wrong, but I believe the 118:1 odds against flopping a flush (and the 15:1 odds against making one by the river) militate against stripping the Krablar of all recognition solely by virtue of sootedness. When used correctly, the homogenous attire of Krablar's working parts is merely a bonus, not a requirement.

FYP for homonym confusion. I'm sure I don't need to go into the linguistic distinction between the two, but I can offer a phonetic distinction to consider when using them in everyday speech: The possessive "your" is generally pronounced as "yore." In recognition of the fact that the contraction "you're" is a merger of distinct words, "you" and "are," it is correctly pronounced "Ewe-er" or "Yoo-wer" in one fluid motion, but with emphasis on the "oo" sound. Some make the mistake of pronouncing both as "yer," and I think this translates to confusion when transcribing them. You're most welcome.

Meh, my stupid krab hand... K3s, raised preflop, villain calls. Flop comes rags 2 spades. I go all in. (for complete shits and giggles) Villain folds and I show. The table goes nuts. Couple of people say "Oh, he was playing the flush draw" Blah blah.

If by "English teacher" you mean "myself," and by "slipped" you mean "serviced," then color me guilty. My grammar is self-taught. They don't get around to this stuff in school.

Sounds like 8th & 9th grade English to me, but maybe my teachers were just hard asses!!!!
If you learned that in 8th or 9th grade, your teachers should get goddamn medals. In 9th grade, my teachers were still giving us prewritten thesis statements and asking us to write supporting paragraphs using "First," "Second," "Third," and "In conclusion."

I don't think I've folded a Krablar in months. It's AMAZING how many pots you take with it. People see that preflop raise and then the flop comes 9, 6, trey, and they see another raise at the flop, and they've had enough, man. They've had enough. pinch pinch
