Poppy_Hillis 11
Blake is the right kind of point guard for this team.Have you seen his shooting chart? He shoots corner 3's at like 47%. And he trains in MMA, and all his teammates in Portland were afraid of him.

JoeyJoJo 18
Looks that way. You hear about the Hedo for Luke and Sasha rumor?Hmm, that might work. A second unit with Blake/Hedo/Odom could get some things done. Of course, swapping out four players for two means they'll still need to fill in a couple more roster spots. FCP Bob 1,321
So veterans looking for a chance to win a title and willing to sign for the minimum can choose The Lakers or The Heat.

Poppy_Hillis 11
I didn't click on the "Bynum is still a head case" link, but if it's about him putting off surgery until after the World Cup, does it make any difference that Kobe told him to "take a vacation first because he deserved it?" Poppy_Hillis 11
Normally I wouldn't say something like this to jinx them on the night of a game, especially @Sac, but this is the best Laker team since 1989.

Kings played really well, and didn't really have a shot in that game. Maybe if Head hit a couple jumpers it would have been closer, but the Lakers looked calm and collected the entire game. I know it's early, but assuming the Heat and Lakers are in the finals I don't see how the Heat can beat them.

It's also unfair to Boston to just assume Miami will beat them.
SuitedAces21 2,723
the lake show looked crazy good last night. i was also very amused by how out of control cousins and evans were at times. coaching that team has to be a whole lot of fun.

Skeleton Jelly 2
This is all the Heat's fault. Everybody was saying the Lakers got off to such a good start because they were motivated by the Heat hype, but now that the Heat have started off so slow they've lost their inspiration. Damn you, Heat!
