Poppy_Hillis 11
Yeah, that is def in my top 3. I was in 9th grade, and talked a ton of shit to my friends that UCLA was going to win it all. After they (who was that again, I wanted to say Ok St but the uniforms aren't right - Wichita St, Iowa,? I remember it being a midwest team) scored I got like 4 phone calls from friends rubbing it in, I was ready to throw things etc. Then when Tyus drove the length of the floor and scored, I obviously called a few people back. :)O'Bannon brothers, Tyus, Cameron Dollar, Toby Bailey, etc etc. Good team w/ no one that did anything of note in the NBA. Shit, Jelani Mcoy might have had the longest NBA career on the team and he couldn't do anything but dunk.Missouri.Cameron Dollar saved them. Remember Edney got hurt in the Final Four and didn't even really play in the championship game.

Ok St and that fat white center was either elite 8 or final 4; Arkansas in the title game, and either UConn or Ok St in the final 4/elite 8.Remember how good people thought Bailey was as a freshman on that team? I had a serious man crush on Ed O'bannon too, I always wanted him to do well in the NBA but he was pretty mediocre.

Cappy37 0
Insert <boythespurslookedold> comment here.Man the West is a mess...Dallas and Utah are fighting for the right to play golf, and the whole rest of the teams below LA are in same huddle... NO, SA, POR, DEN, HOU, PHX... This is gonna be nuts..New Orleans has done the best of the rest so far, but they've played 2-4 fewer games than the rest... That's bound to catch up to them: you don't want all your ugly road trips and back-to-backers vs. tougher 2nd half competition..
Cappy37 0
Hey, Laker Folks.. since it's almost the trade deadline.. What's your wishlist?Anyone mid-level expception worthy? What do you really want in return for Odom (assuming they do want to move him)? What would someone have to offer you for Bynum given his ups and downs this year?

What do you really want in return for Odom (assuming they do want to move him)? What would someone have to offer you for Bynum given his ups and downs this year?Stay healthy is our biggest priority. There will be no personnel moves that will benefit the team. Any move will throw off the chemistry of the team and force a new player to learn the triangle. Although we'd be interested in moving Chris Mihm and DJ Mbenga for someone like, say, the Phoenix Suns Training Staff?
YonYonson 156
Very few players I would take for Bynum. Very few. And those guys probably wont be traded.

slt1der 0
Predictions on how the Lake Show goes these next two months? Andrew Bynum's flagrant foul on Gerald Wallace got upgraded to a Flagrant 2. No suspensions, which is good. Alot of people were calling for suspension but from watching the replays, didn't really warrant it. Seemed like people got swept by the result "collapsed lung".

We had a pretty easy time with Charlotte the next night. :unsure:My prediction is 22-9.. I'd normally give the Lake Show more credit, but jeez a lotta those are on the road. Plus considering that the rest of the West is essentially mailing it in vs. their current record, they may be a bit complacent toward the end of the trip.

Plus considering that the rest of the West is essentially mailing it in vs. their current record, they may be a bit complacent toward the end of the trip.Yeah, I'm having bad flashbacks to the 06-07 season where they started off strong because of a heavy home schedule early and went .500 and backed into the playoffs when they hit the road. Of course, that team featured Kwame Brown and Smush Parker, so I'll be surprised if they lose more than 6 games the rest of the season. Hope Gerald Wallace recovers. As usual, the teams fall back to reality after facing the Lakers or the Celtics. Congrats on Roy getting the all-star nod too. And yes, finally we get to see more than one all-star from the forum blue and gold in the all star game.
Poppy_Hillis 11
Predictions on how the Lake Show goes these next two months?Realistically 21-10, but I could see anything happening. If Kobe or Pau turns an ankle put me to sleep and wake me up in March.Congrats on Roy getting the all-star nod too. And yes, finally we get to see more than one all-star from the forum blue and gold in the all star game.I've been in the hospital all night and forgot all about the all-star selections. And yes, glad Roy got in.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if Wallace didn't get injured on the play. Now Perkins on the other hand, that was just stupid.
