What Has Happened To Howard Lederer?

Recommended Posts

He still plays, barely. Why would you in his position? It can be such a grind. I don't think he ever was a cash game guy. He's made millions, got famous at the right time, and with all the other crap he's into now he doesn't have to play much anymore.Must be nice. :club:
Not a cash game guy? He used to play in the big game regularly and crushed Andy Beal a couple of times...

What gives you this impression?
Mainly Professor, Banker, Suicide King. There are some allusions in there that gave me that impression. Howard in the past was known to always want to play the biggest games and get frustrated when he couldn't win there (as he was moving up). Honestly I can't understand how anyone could be a consistant winner at the big Bellagio 4k/8k game.

What gives you this impression?I don't think Howard "owns" 50% of Full Tilt. If he did "own" 50% he would have already been arrested and imprissoned in the same manner that Sportingbet CEO Peter Dicks and Betonsports CEO David Carruthers were arrested the minute they touched down on US soil, and the reason Calvin Ayre will not step foot inside the US. After all, Full Tilt is an Offshore gambling site.....I think Howard is more of a highly paid "consultant" or "adviser" along with Ivey etc. Am i wrong?
