Why Is It So Popular?

Recommended Posts

Well we all know it's rigged, but it's definitely one of the easiest sites to navigate. Can you be more specific about what you find difficult and maybe some of us can help with it?
OK, my initial reaction has tempered a little. There are some nice things about it, such as the selection of SnGs, and the structure. One stupid little thing I don't like... the hand you had doesn't show up in the chat box. Why does that matter? If I'm playing multiple windows and fold a marginal hand I may not remember what it is, but I'm curious how it would've played against this room. I know, I should just remember, but that's tough with multiple rooms. I know, it doesn't matter once it's folded, but I do find it gives me ideas for future play. The main thing I don't like though is finding the games. In OnGame, they make sense. If I'm want to play a cash game, first I want to find the level I want to play (0.50NL vs 0.25NL vs $2NL), then the right table size (10p vs 6p), and then see how full they are. On Stars, you can't seem to sort them that way. One of the sorts is number of people currently at the table, which doesn't help. And there are similar issues with tournaments/SnGs. I can get to what I want, but it just doesn't have the flow or the aesthetics of OnGame.I don't hate it as much as my initial reaction, but there are little things that OnGame does better. The big things, the things that matter, such as available games and game play (resizeable windows, etc), Stars seems to have done right, and I won't miss OnGame for that. I can't see ever going back to 8 minute levels on the SnGs.

I didn't know you could resize tables on Stars. Hmm. Where else besides Party can you do this? I know Bodog does the side-table view.

I'm slowly finding the features, but aethetically, I just find it unpleasant. I switched to one of the other skins, and that is more tolerable. But I really dislike trying to find the game I want, it just seems laid out kind of haphazardly. I suspect I will learn quickly enough and not think about it anymore, though, so maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge. And the longer levels in SnGs is sweet, now I just have to eliminate the bad beats.EDIT: After a couple hours on Stars, I can definitively say it's rigged.EDIT THE EDIT: Make that double-secret rigged.
Tritz, is that you? I just came here for the egay sex. Who wants to throw me a reach around? So there I was, effing RonMex, and the queer tried to tickle my balls. What a f.ag!
