What Do You Think?

Recommended Posts

I think I am a way better cash player than a tourney player, so what I've started doing lately is, I'll start the day playing a cash game and win maybe $100 or so, 5and spend the rest of the day playing low buy-in SnG's and MTT's. Anyone have any opinions on this idea? I haven't had a problem making the scratch to start with, and I get like 10-20 Mtts a day. Thoughts? I figure the more practice the better.

I'd just like to know where people get the time to play 10-20 MTT's a day period.

If you dont' yet have the skills necessary to win a tournament, or the experience doing it, I suggest that you take it slowly. You're going to learn a lot more if you're only playing 1 or 2 MTTs at a time, that way you see the dynamics change and you miss fewer opportunities to make plays. Also that way, it's much easier to analyze your play, good or bad, at the end of the day.

It's actually quite easy if you bust out in the first few levels :club:

If you're a way better cash player than tourney player, then why the hell are you playing tourneys? This doesn't make any sense to me. And stopping when you are up $100 isn't always such a good idea. Make a set # of hands or hours or something along those lines. Often times players will play too long when they are losing and not enough when they are winning.

Because I want to get better at Tournaments. I would like to enjoy this game more than just try to make money off of it.
