CBFalcon 0
I have played at a few places in DFW. Some were nice places, some just small backrooms. But always good people and lots of action.I'm looking for a new game in Northwest Fort Worth as I moved out that way recently. PM me if anyone knows of one.
Jeepster80125 0
To the OP, I have found many a home game at free bar poker games. Google [your city]pokertour, or national pub poker league occasionally i play in this game in this back room in a bar. i guess its technically illegal. but whatever. there's so many people in that bar on drugs that our game wouldnt be the focusI play a cash game at a bar. There is a Colorado law that states social clubs can have raked cash games as long as everyone has a relationship outside of said poker game. They issue membership cards to get around it. 1969_F85 0
I play at 2 different places here in north central Indiana. The "boats" are only about 3 hours away but I haven't played there. I am planning a weekend up there with a few buddies but that will not be for about a month. Thanksgiving weekend would be great, the relatives will be at my house, I will be at the boats. Hmmm, that sounds good, but I don't think the wife will go for it. (normally I don't care, but she is my only source of pleasure so.....HAHA!!)Anyway, yes the games are illegal here, but since the Prosecutor of our town holds a weekly game in his basement and has played in a few tourneys, I don't think it will get shut down. If I was a local lawyer that hit a kid on a bike then drove off, I would get 6 months probation with 40 hours of community service. (Actually happened!) But if I get caught smoking a joint in my own home like most people would have a Crown and Coke, I would get 2-5 years!
stealfromblind 0
what i like about underground rooms as opposed to casino's are the perks the guys running the game throw in to keep you comming back. these can range from highest hand jackpot($1 raked from each pot highest hand rakes the whole thing at the end of the night) to about once a month paying strippers to come in and wait on the tables topless(among other things). now you won't see that in any casino.-steal
