Another lame thing from P5's live coverage:Picture Police by Court on 10/25/2006 14:22 In Canada, or at least this part of Canada, it is against the law to take pictures on the gaming floor. Meaning, no more pictures of the action. Coverage will continue. ---Lame.
again, this is not a 'canadian' rule or anything, just this poker room.

At my poker room, I'm not allowed to have any electronic devices at the table. I'm not sure about pictures mind you. But, we have to get up to use our cell, and we can't have an IPod or anything at the table.

I hear that using an iPod is grounds for arrest beginning the fourth level also.
On a side note, they just informed the players they can't use their IPods anymore.

It's a Quebec (French) thing but they serve it at some places in Ontario and the rest of Canada too. It is Fries covered in cheese and gravy.
a common mistake..it's gravey and cheese CURDS...BIG diff.
Don't buy a poutine if it's from Ontario. None compare to a Quebec poutine. On the other hand, get some shwarma's.
oh man, a good shwarma place is like finding hidden tresure!try some roti too!

They allowed the MP3 players at first but after a couple of levels they dissallowed it. I think people weren't paying attention and slowing things up but I'm not sure. Nobody at my table had one.

No electronic devices are allowed on the gaming floor, as per the AGCO. This includes but is not limited to ipods, mp3 players, cell phones, PDAs, blackberrys, cameras or any other recording or communication devices.Initially during the Canadian Open and the first half of Day 1a of the NAPC, ipods were being allowed. At the instructions of the AGCO, this was stopped. There was some miscommunication/disagreement as to whether Grand Hall D and E were considered "the gaming floor" (where all electronic devices are prohibited at the tables) or a "tournament area" (where ipods and mp3 players would be allowed). It was determined by the AGCO that the Grand Halls were indeed "the gaming floor".Note: There was very little negativity from players regarding this issue, especially from Day 1b and on. Players did voice that they would like the rule changed for the future, but no one kicked up a stink about it for the rest of the tournament.
