Recommended Posts

Joe Pelton is donking it hard right now, blowing up from 2.9 million (double 2nd) down to 6th with just over 600k. First pays over 1 million and 6th pays 83k. Ala Dmitri Nobles, seems this guy never ever folds a hand. If he finishes in 6th this will no doubt be the biggest blowup ever for the WPT.Ow3nd.Steve Wong raises to $120,000 from the small blind and Joe Pelton moves all in from the big blind. Wong calls and shows AspadeKdiamond while Pelton turns over Aheart9heart. The board comes 10spade2club2diamond8spade3club and Steve Wong has doubled up to around $1,650,000 chips.Andreas Walnum raises to $60,000 from middle position and Joe Pelton calls from the small blind. The flop comes AdiamondQspade8diamond and Pelton checks. Walnum bets $100,000 and Pelton makes the call. The turn is the 6diamond and Pelton bets $250,000. Walnum makes the call and the river is the 8club. Pelton bets $350,000 and Walnum moves all in for $613,000 more. Pelton thinks for a few minutes before making the call. Walnum turns over 6club6heart for sixes full and Pelton mucks his hand.Joe Pelton limps from the small blind and Chris Loveland checks. The flop comes 10heart5diamond5spade and Pelton bets $35,000. Loveland makes the call and the turn is the 5heart. Pelton checks and Loveland checks as well. The river is the 6heart and Pelton fires $75,000. Loveland thinks for a moment before calling. I was being sarcastic...OP said Pelton was having the biggest WPT Blow up, but yet he is guaranteed 3rd place money. David Singer came into a WPT event as the chip leader and busted 6th, now that is a blow up.

If you actually saw that WPT episode, it wasn't a blow up, just losing one huge pot when he was 70-30 to win, than lost a coin flip. Played good, just got unlucky.
