Wandigo 1
So this Thursday I'm going to be driving by myself from the Toledo (Ohio) area all the way to Tampa, FL. I have to bring my grandmas car to her and then she's flying me back on Sunday. Since I have a 15+ hr drive ahead of me and will be making many stops, I was wondering if anyone knows of any B&M's that would be on my way?I'll probably be taking I-75 the whole way and it shoots through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Maybe we could even meet up if you're on my way and you can take me to the poker room at a nearby B&M.I'll probably be staying at a hotel somewhere around Atlanta Thursday night and then finishing up the drive on Friday, so if there's one around there or even a local game some of you may play in, I'd love to hear about it!If this needs to be moved, then so be it, but I figured it was somewhat poker-related.Thanks. I live in TN, and I am virtually certain that there are no (legal) B&M card rooms between Toledo and Tampa.

capthowdy981 0
You're going through the heart of the bible belt.Closest game to find around there is probably the river boat.
Dogpatch 2
I'm in Middle Georgia, about an hour south of Atlanta. There's not much happening down here, but Atlanta has plenty of Poker, or so I hear. It's all private "leagues". I don't know anybody up there, but there is at least one guy on the forum that lives up there. I'll try to find his name. Here in the 'Ville, all we have is bar poker and home games. $15-$20 buy ins, usually minimum around $400 or better prize pool. I know it's not "real" poker (see thread where someone said that), but it's what we have.
TheCinciKid 0
The Argosy here in Cincy is probably the closest thing I can think of, but that's a good 15-20 miles out of your way if you're taking I-75 the whole way.
CobaltBlue 662
Philadelphia, MS has the closest casino with a poker room in the TN/GA/AL "area"...and it's at least 6 hours away from I-75.
wvapoker 0
if you detour through louisvile instead of cincy you can play at ceasars indiana for a few hours. Then you can play at any of the dog tracks ($2 max bet LHE) and MMTs in FL. and the Hardrock Seminole
gsxraddict 0
I live in Atlanta, and there have been rumors about cops busting in on the home games, thats caused things to slow down alot.
Turbo Dog 1
I live about 10 minutes from I-75 in Tennessee near the Georgia state line, and am pretty sure you are out of luck as far as legal card rooms go.Watch out for Atlanta games, as I seem to remember several reports of busts by cops and hold-ups by bad guys down there over the last several months.
