I dunno how "standard" this is. This could be just the nut flush pushing you around. Folding is a safe play...but if UTG really sucks...you could be getting half...or 3/4ths here. If he had A3 diamonds, I would think he might c/r the flop...I know I would...or bet out. At least if you fold here you'll be able to get a fairly cheap read on UTG as he will be forced to showdown.

I personally think this is an awful play. He starts betting when the flush came on the turn and most likely is not holding a 3.

um, he only needs a 2 card hand here to quarter your ***. this is a very standard fold imo, im not going to war with this hand here.this is a very easy call down in LIMIT, but i fold this most of the time in PLO8, esp. full ring

It's a $5 bet into a $13. If he calls. Then check calls a pot bet ($23) on the river and gets 1/4 of the $69 pot, he will get $17.25 of his $28 he put in (in the worst possible situation if the guy bets full pot on the river). If the guy only has the flush and our guy gets 1/2 he will get $34.50 and make $6.50.I take this chance. There is a chance that he has A 3 and a flush, but if he sucks, he could only have A3xx and the high is up for grabs, esp if you only consider the sidepot would be the main pot. I still dont like the fold.

calling this down your risking an awefull lot to not win very much though no? and if he has like a4 or a5 and a flush calling that turn still sucks.
