Reggie_Kray 0
Finally got my laptop set up, the place we are staying in was built in 1433, the electricity supply is dodgy. To backtrack, after fleecing the last game we played, the one at the warehouse we knew we had to leave the North for a while. The heat was rising, everyone knows us, everyone is scared of us sure, but it only takes one bullet. Some gangsters get cocky, not us, we know the score. We drove the Jag north of the border, into Scotland, we needed to be near a big city but didn`t fancy living in the middle of one. We chose a village near the Forth Bridge to settle in.We arrived there just as dawn was breaking, we were tired and needed to get our heads down.As we drove into the village we saw a postman doing his rounds, my brother told me to ask him if he knew any empty houses hereabouts. I drew up alongside him, he told us a cottage on the outskirts of the village was empty, it was a Londoners summer retreat and he`d left the place until next April. We bunged the postie £50 for his help but warned him if he mentioned us to anyone he`d be riding his bike around the big post office in the sky before long. Fear sprung into his eyes, he nodded and cycled away at speed."He`ll be no bother bruv" I said to Ron.So, we came upon the cottage, it looked ok. Big gardens and 4 bedrooms, enough for us brothers.Ron jemmied the locks while I kept my eyes open for Filth, after 10 seconds we were in.Ron chose the back bedroom, it had a genuine stags head on the wall and an old painting. I took the painting and slung it in the boot of the Jag, we might get a couple of grand for that at auction."Right bruv, we`re here now, lets sleep til 2pm then decide what business to do" I said. Ron agreed and we hit the sack for a bit.So, today we wake at 7am, we are feeling restless, after a few days here without doing anything much we need to start doing our stuff.Ron came in the bedroom with a bacon sarnie and a plan."Reg" he said, "You know that old Lairds place out on the Edinburgh Road? you know the one we passed it as we drove here"I nodded, I remembered it well, it looked big, too big for some doddery old git to rattle around on his own."Shall we go there tonight and see what we can get?" my brother asked."Yeah bruv, excellent, we have our balaclavas, we each got a cosh, lets see what we can nick" I replied. We leave in about 2 hours... Lonny_Huff 0
Golly, you Europeans sure do live on the edge! The neatest thing I've done in weeks is go all in with a draw in a 3.30 mtt with 5 blinds left. I'm not saying that Lonny Huff isn't hard... Geoff, Carlton and I just like to keep it on the downlow. But hey, to each his own. BTW, if you are ever here in Buffalo, don't "Nick" anything from the pink house with orange shutters on Pleasant St.
