360f1 0 Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 I played the Fiesta Al Lago $2000 tourney today. Had Tuan Le, Men the master, and Paul Darden at my table. The PPL was the main discussion. The most interesting thing is that each of the 64 player got a check for $340,000 just for participating.The format is really like a cash game where each team has a budget and must play at least $100k per week on two tables. Most money at the end of the season wins.IMHO based on the format. Team 4 is the best. Ivey, Greenstein, and banyamine alone make the team.FYI, Tuan, Men, and Paul all went out early in the tourney.
