toddkrit 0
I have a really good friend who lives in England (where it is legal to deposit money for online poker), so why cant I send him some $ and have him sign up for an account. Then I can play under that account name. If I need to deposit $ I`ll send it to him, and if I need to take some out he`ll send it to me. Think that will work?

delphi12 0
And how long will this whole process take? A week, two weeks? When you lose your deposit because of a bad beat and want to redeposit immediately because a donk is in the game - you wont be able to. It sounds fine, but in reality just unlikely to work. Also, understand that if you start going around the rules and finding loopholes, the government has their own little way of making your life hell and finding out something that you are doing thats illegal (like not claiming your poker winnings as income). Just play live. Is that so difficult?I understand Daniels little rant in his blog. At first, I didnt really think it affected the pros since they make their money in the "big game" (right, daniel?) Last time I checked there wasnt too many 3000-6000 games going on (I could be wrong). The truth is, like I've said in the past, Daniel owns 100% of FCP and this puts a dent in his income (im not sure how big FCP really is, but hes got enough followers here who play through it).Poker was due to have its bubble burst. toddkrit 0
And how long will this whole process take? A week, two weeks? Just play live. Is that so difficult? Why the hell would it take a week or 2? Do you think I`m going to send a check in the mail? There are alot quicker ways. You can use the internet for more than just posting on poker forums.Play live......hmmmm. Thats pretty easy. Lets see, maybe we can all just start having ILLEGAL home games. Or everyone should move within an hour of a casino. I think Im going to uproot my whole life to move closer to a casino so that I can play poker live instead of from home. Thanks for the input. Shizzmoney 0
The key to online gaming is Neteller. The majority of the people on here who play online use Neteller to cash in and cash out. If the government finds a way to somehow not allow banks to allow us to take our hard earned money into Neteller accounts (and similair wire sercives like Neteller), then online poker is pretty much dead (although I'm sure you could find some way around it, but it would be very difficult and time consuming). That's what will happen if THEY get THEIR way. It's just like the Nazi's. In 2 years, you won't even be able to go to Amazon.com to buy a book.
Woodbelly 0
eventually if they get their way, they(the sites) will have to block any ip adresses that come from a US site...so u will have to circumvent another way...I'm going to send my friend in Germany a computer and setup remote desktop on it. That way if they block IPs I'll just remote to the machine at his house and play off of his IP. So many ways around this stuff it's not even funny.
hob goblin 0
All that they have to do is get a court ruling on how much "chance" is necessary to be included on this bill. We must all hope that somehow poker is no longer considered gambling. And yes I am encouraged to know about the previous court ruling where poker is a game of skill, I think we just need to see if it gets applied to this ruling. As long as poker is not gambling (which in the long run there is no way that it is) we are in the clear.

That and to destroy the environment since they don't have to inhale the same air the rest of the people do - or care about their own families or children. Go outside and look at 10 random people. 4 of them voted. And 2 of those voted Republican. Do they seem like Nazis to you?
