naterll 0
All,My buddies and I are heading out to Vegas on March 3rd for spring break.Does anyone know a cheap yet quality way to get rooms/airfare? We're flying from Detroit. What are some nice yet low priced hotels on the strip that we should look into. Also, we're going out there for spring break. Outside of me, all of my buddies suck at poker. What are some nice clubs to visit? Thanks for your help.

Alpha1494 0
Me and some buddies went out there for the end of the WSOP. We just stayed at the Gold Coast which is right next to the Rio. Its not on the strip, but there is a free shuttle service to the Barbary Coast which is right on the strip and across the street from Ceasar's. Ceasar's has an awesome poker room, sports book, and club. So that may be a good hot spot for you. Honestly, there are so many clubs in Vegas, its almost hard to go wrong. From the Barbary you are in easy walking distance of Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Ceasar's, MGM, New York New York, and the Aladdin. That's what I would recommend if you are looking for something cheap. We are from Indianapolis and we drove to Chicago and flew straight to Vegas from there. We stayed for 7 nights and 8 days for $330 a man (4 guys, 1 room). I'm sure some Vegas locals or people who visit more frequently may be able to give you some better advice or numbers, but we had a blast. So I figured that may be worth something in itself. Enjoy your trip.Alpha

You can eat breakfast lunch and dinner for about 25 bucks and it's not bad. The casino there sucks balls though and the poker room is even worse. If you want better quality, stay at MGM. I've stayed there before, you'll pay more but it's worth it if you can afford it. The other thing too is that the shuttles stop running after a certain time and sometimes you just don't feel like waiting 20 min. for one.
