Drumroooooooooooooolllllllllllll........Alexander!!!!!!!I think no other movie actually blew it harder in terms of expectation/director/money. Waterworld was like a masterpiece compared to Alexander.
You're right, that movie was ****ing horrible.

He's good. Not the best but still good.
This is where you and I will definately have to differ. To me, an actor is someone that allows the character to inhabite them, bringing different emotions and actions to convey the unique psychological composition of the different people they are supposed to portray in each different film. Mr. Smith is the same basic character moving from movie to movie and situation to situation a la david caruso.

there are character actors and leading men - what you describe is a leading man - aka Harrison Ford Some actors carry movies based on their personal charisma - they get paid a lot its hard to blame themWill has actually done some decent work at times Six Degrees of Separation probably his best - He hasn't shown Don Cheadle range but given the choice between showing off your acting chops and getting paid it's hard to blame himMaybe someday he'll do something adventurousFor instance I think Eddie Murphy could do anything he wanted to as an actor but he's chosen to sell out do kiddie movies and get paidHe's never even tried a dramatic role

David Caruso definately sucks but Will Smith can do comedy and action. Granted his repertoire is not that large. I think someone like Edward Norton or John Malkovich are good and underrated actors though.

I saw Bad News Bears go to Japan on that list, and I don't know what's worst.... that my parents named me after Tanner from the original... or that they actually made this movie... it was so bad.

Does that mean you got away with calling people a "booger eating spaz" among other things as a kid? That would be awesome....

93. Thunderpants is friggin hilarious. It's about this kid born with a farting problem but the story around it is hilarious. A must see movie.

How Mom and Dad saved the world with Jon Lovitz and MI3, which was about the biggest piece of self serving schlock Cruise has ever done. Not Gay like Top Gun, not guilty pleasure crap like Days of Thunder, just pure crap.

I totally disagree with people that said mars attacks, national security, the transporter, superman returns, royal tenenbaums, office space, Boondock Saints, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I'm not saying these movies are great (well obviously office space and the royal tenenbaums are great) but these movies certainly arent worthy of consideration of the worst movie of all time. I realize it's all a matter of taste. But if you have no taste it doesn't count.mars attacks, national security and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy were all very entertaining movies.the rest of the movies had moments or characters that were fun to watch.the transporter - opening car scene and the fight on oilsuperman returns - kate bosworth. plus it's a superman movie.Boondock Saints - no it's not a great movie. no it's not a crap movie. the short scene where they speak 5 or 6 different languages is fun. the re-enactments with Willem Dafoe are cool. movies like Congo, Barb Wire, Showgirls, Spiceworld, Wild Wild West are the real crap movies. I admit I haven't seen 2 of these movies so I really shouldn't have them on this list but whatever I do what I want.also since this is a long post I'll add that Weekend at Bernie's II was better than Weekend at Bernie's

Ok, Waterworld is not a bad movie, it's actually a good movie, and one of the very best of its type. For example, it's a million miles times than Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Yet nobody is mentioning that film in this thread because Kevin Costner was a big star when it came out, and the reason they hate Waterworld is because they bought into the media backlash against him. Shame on you.As an aside, Kevin Costner is awesome. Dances With Wolves and Open Range are two of the best westerns ever.
